I have a 20 year old large (about 3ft long) Igloo cooler that I replaced the latches on once with the recycled fire hose "latches." Was never pleased as they didn't always latch tightly. This time I needed to replace the hinges as well. This stainless steel product was simple to install; probably took me about 10 minutes to do everything. I like how it latches tightly and the product seems like a very good upgrade from the old factory issue items, and a great upgrade from the fire hose product. Time will tell of course but I am very pleased with the initial results.

They look great and feel very resilient. Will see how they hold up at next event

Replacing all the latches and hinges on a like new cooler. This kit matches my Igloo product perfectly and includes all the pieces at the price Walmart is asking for one latch!

So far so good. Better than the plastic hinges

Junk. They are supposed to be a match for igloo coolers, but the latches won't even line up so that the cooler will shut properly. Save your money and buy a better product. The hinges worked okay, but definitely weren't perfect. I was able to make them work, but the latches don't work at all.

10 minutes to replace all hardware on a cooler with a broken clasp. All holes but 2 matched. I needed new holes for the clasp peg. A trick for locating those holes - put the screw and peg in the clasp prior to install. install the clasp and partially close. The screw will mark the cooler and locate where the peg should be installed.
