I am a female professional solo guitarist /vocalist who uses 3 amps. One for guitar and voice, the other for foot-drums, the other for bass AI to my guitar. It is essential that all my amps look alike - just because that is the way I want it - looking uniform. The truth is, I DON'T OWN ONE OF THESE AMPS ............ I OWN TWO OF THEM. One for drums and one for guitar AI Bass accompaniment. A gluten for punishment. How come when I bought two, I didn't "get one free"?My third amp is the exorbitantly expensive Roland Cube Ex (purchased on Amazon of course). You see, the way my life works, I simply give Amazon all my money at the beginning of the month and Amazon gives me what is left over at the end of the month - which is usually a negative number.Let's get back to the subject. This is a very high quality amp - over the Donner Drum Amp - because it has more volume. Although I don't need more volume - but like everyone else - I just like to know that more volume is there - if I ever do need it.From a busy solo performer's standpoint, this is an easy amp to set-up, tear-down and transport. Everything (the plugs, knobs, inputs etc) are located on top, but inset and protected - so you do not have to flip or turn the amp upside-down, sideways to set-up or tear-down. I use the expensive Roland Street Ex bag to haul this amp which allows the amp to remain in the bag during performances - thus eliminating another set-up and tear-down step. The problem with this amp is, during indoor rehearsals and sound tests - it sounds one way (less bass and less highs). During outside performances, it sounds another way (more bass and more highs). Worse, the change in perceived sound outdoors is vastly different at different outdoor venues - which renders me little-bo-peep who has lost her sheep (sound settings). The bass and highs are the issue - the mids are the mids and don't seem to be a problem. Primarily, the bass can be overwhelming and sometimes the highs disappear outdoors - of course as you might guess - all my performances take place outdoors. So, when I perfect my instrument sound setting during rehearsal, during a performance the setting are completely out-the-window and I have to struggle with making adjustments. I play every Fri, Sat and Sun and I am always running late and don't have time to mess with complete sound-check-overhaul.Don't have the luxury of a sound-person so I am on my own.Have not gotten too upset about this yet - but give me time - and I will probably come up with genuine despicable comments. This amp needs to remain on it's best behavior.

I recently purchased a new keyboard/synth and the internal speakers are not the best quality but they do produce sound. Based on the people that left reviews concerning their keyboards I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger on this one and save myself a bigger headache from looking at the tons of other amplifiers available. I purchased and received this amplifier and it was small but for its size had some weight to it. After unpacking it I immediately connected it to my keyboard. I adjusted the Line Volume and the Low, Mid and High range knobs to to their center positions. I sat down, turned the keyboard volume down and then turned the keyboard on. No buzz or humming detected and then I turned up the keyboard volume and picked a piece of music and started playing. That was over a week ago. Since then I’ve only had a few hours of sleep because I’m constantly at the keys, playing my heart out. This amp is exactly what I needed and hoped it would be, at least for me and my use which is strictly for home. I’m sure my neighbors will disagree with my decision to purchase this amp but?? Oh well! Here’s my drawbacks. In order to compensate for the crappy internal keyboard speakers I had been editing the tones in order to make them sound better thru them. I have 96 registration banks that I had saved my mix of edited tones and rhythms all adjusted for the internal sound. Well, I ended up dumping them all. In fact I ended up resetting my keyboard back to factory default because with the new amplifier, the modified tones were now incorrect and were overdriving the amplifier. After the reset I was very impressed with the new sound and the minimal tone adjustments that I tweaked in my music. I really love the sound and ease of use. This is my first amplifier that I’ve ever used so I’m not sure how other amplifiers would sound.. I’m sure all of them would sound better than what my internal speakers sound like. My biggest complaint, is the worst but really isn’t the amplifiers problem but instead my problem. I used to be able to make mistakes and then cover them while playing. Hahaha, not anymore! Now my playing mistakes are definitely amplified and nothing I can do about it except turning off the amplifier and shutting down both my hearing aids. That’s right, I’m an old dude. 68 years old and have played since I was 5 years old. I just regret that digital equipment had not been invented yet. Oh well, at least I can enjoy the digital music world now.I highly recommend this CoolMusic DM-80 for those who don’t need a large stadium and stage sound system but powerful enough to rattle the walls of the room and make the instrument sound like it should.

The speaker came with no power cord so I had to purchase one locally but the speaker does play very good it has alot of power and the sound is good quality for electric drums. I also like the fact that u can hook up iphone via bluetooth and play along with it or use as monitor. So far so good packaging was great i will see if amazon gets me a new power cord besides that not being in box drum speaker is real good

This drum amp gave me more than I expected. Easy to use. Plug and play. Very loud for a small amp this size too and not heavy, looks portable. I connected my alesis nitro max with this amp with a balanced cable and sounds phenomenal

Works great for electronic drums and bass guitar. Perfect addition to a jam space. However Speaker clicks and doesn’t sound right when slapping the bass guitar. Might be able to eq that abit. Drums sound great, nice punch to the speaker.
