So you might be shocked by my 5 star review (and yes this a real and sane person I promise lol) although I received a broke Tunisian hook. So here's the thing, my initial instinct was to get upset and get on here and write a bad review and return them. But then I asked myself, "Can it be fixed?" And the answer was yes. So then I decided to just go ahead and test out the 5.5mm hook and to be honest I absolutely loved it. The quality felt great in my hand, it was easy to work with and my stitches looked great. So I'm definitely very happy with these amazing hooks. And my simple fix for the 8mm hook is to buy some gorilla glue to fix it. Plus let's be honest you cannot beat the price. I have well known super popular interchangeable crochet hooks that cost $75, and I like my recent purchase better. So just because something costs more doesn't mean it's always better, just saying!But you all should definitely gives these Tunisian crochet hooks a try.

UPDATED REVIEWI removed a star because the yarn is snagging on the hook tips that are wood. The yarn also doesn’t slide like metal hooks, even with different yarns. I had to really take some time to sand down the wood hooks and handles. Pay attention to the edge especially in the “valley†of the hooks. After I sanded them down and polished them with a super fine emory board (for shine) I got them to a good place where they worked nicely, were slick with the yarn and I could enjoy them. ARE THEY WORTH THE MONEY? Yes, if you don’t mind taking some time to finish them. If you don’t want to sand them, then no. It wasn’t difficult, just time consuming.My hooks just arrived. They were a day late. One of the reviews stated that she had to use a Sharpie to write the sizes because it wore off fast so I applied some clear nail polish to the numbers Be careful! Only two strokes or it wipes the printed size off. (See photo) I felt the wooden tips for any spurs that would snag as well and mine all felt smooth. The wooden hooks are longer than I expected, to my delight! The plastic end seems supple, so I don’t think it will be difficult to work with. They uncoil easily.There are plenty of sizes from 2.0 to 9.0 for a variety of projects. I’m excited to try them! I gave them a 5.0 for the time being.

This is a great set and selection of different sizes of hooks for tunisian crochet. I haven’t tried ones with the wires being a beginner, but the metal ones seem better quality. This is a great addition to my hobby tool set, worth the buy.

(Btw not all the hooks are in the photos but I'm not going to remove them from my on going projects. You do get the correct amount and sizes of crochet hooks.)The metal is really nice but the plastic at the end is a bit rough and not that great. Regardless, they work well and do what they need to do. The small mm hooks are flimsy so be careful when your using them. The hook sizes seem to be accurate.

This set of Tunisian Crochet Hooks is very well made. The tip is nice, it grabs the yarn and the yarn slides easily. I like the easily identifiable size marker at the end, and that shape of end adds to the hook end to keep it from rolling away when it inevitably lands in the floor.I highly recommend this set. So many hooks for such a great price. I was really expecting low quality, but what a splendid surprise! I read a review that was not happy they arrived in a zip close plastic bag. For all these hooks at the price that was charged, why would a fancy dancy carry bag bag be included? Why? I prefer to have them in the see through bag. I can see what hook I am grabbing. No fancy carry bag is needed.

I was excited to get this set but it was a bit disappointed. The aluminum hooks are great and I like the selection of sizes. The rest of the set was a waste though. The bamboo hooks are unusable unless there is a way to sand and refinish them. They aren't smooth and snag the yarn. The scissors are dull, cross over too far and pinch your fingers when you try to clip the yarn.

Tunisian crochet hooks were exactly what was pictured. Haven't used them yet but was happy to find them. Great assortment of sizes. Will recommend them to anyone else who is looking for them.
