Like many others, I bought these expecting I'd be able to use the lids on my older Copco cups as well. Not so.Then I dribbled coffee all over the front of my clean shirt several times during my first use. ARRRHGGHHH!Then I read the reviews as saw that (a) most folks seem to have leaking problems (b) but many also seem to overcome them. I intended to be one of these (b)s.The threads on the things are not normal screw threads with a lead-in starter. Instead they seem to be "Push the cap on really hard and it'll click, then turn it as far as you can as hard as you can." That seems to seal the lid nicely. The "...as hard as you can" part's a bit difficult for me, at 80 I don't have the grip of a youth of 60 but I grunt a bit as it works. Testing above the sink as suggested by others is recommended!The caps on my earlier Copco cups made coffee taste like it had been roasted with old tires. I threw them out years ago. The caps on these don't. I was very pleasantly surprised.I think I'm going to get another pair as spares. This is the first "commuter cup" I've had that didn't taste of eau d'Michelein. (or essence of Goodyear).The microwave compatibility and dishwasher safe characteristics are two other reasons adding to my 5* evaluation.UPDATE:With cap and cup clean place cap light on the cup. Turn it backwards (counter clockwise) with light pressure. It will click when the threads on the cap are engaged with threads on cup. Then tighten the cap gently then firmly. Test. Still leak? Take it off and repeat until you've got the feel for it.This does work!

After one use it leaked. Was hoping it would have been better. My problem. Put the lid on correctly and have had no problems. Great cups

These are a nice set of cups. But they do not hold heat for very long maybe an hour or so. They leak if you get any liquid up where the threads are for the cap which is a pain. It is hard to get the coffee out from behind the band that wraps around it. I do find that since they can go in the microwave I like that a lot. I don't put them through a dishwasher. But they are easy to clean by hand.

I was very happy with these items, got a great system to screw them on, they don’t leak and they have a very small hole at the top for you to drink from instead of a big one, and it goes all over your mouth and drips down you and it keeps it warm for a very long time plus it fits in your cupholder

Big disappointment. I had one of these almost 20 years ago, and the rubber sleeve was permanently bonded to the cup, so water couldn't get caught in between.Guess they've decided it's cheaper to reduce the production quality. In these newer cups, the rubber sleeves are not permanently bonded. They aren't even tapered to fit the shape of the cup. They are badly fitting and provide easy access for water to get underneath the sleeve. I definitely don't want to drink from a cup with moldy old water under the sleeve. And trying to wash the sleeve separately is a HUGE pain, because when dry, it's almost impossible to slip the sleeve back on.Another product ruined by corporate greed.

These mugs are attractive, fit nicely in my car cup holder, are microwavable and dishwasher safe. I was looking for a mug that I could warm up my tea in the microwave but all the travel mugs in the stores weren't microwavable. because they were metal This set is plastic and fits my needs great! I like the flip top to prevent spills too.Update: The O-ring (rubber ring inside the lid) keeps coming out. I try pushing it back in but it keeps coming out resulting in the cup leaking when I drink. I'm revising my 5 star to 3 stars since I've only had the mug since October 2024. This is January 2025.

I love these for my morning coffee. They don't leak if you get the top screwed on correctly. The coffee stays hot but not burning like with stainless steel cups. They go through the dishwasher well. Would buy again.

I like everything about this cup. It’s simple. No frills no bells and whistles. It’s doesn’t keep liquids warm for hours but I don’t like having to wait 2 hours for my drink not to burn me anyway. It keeps it warm long enough for me to drink. The isn’t 100% leak proof, I wouldn’t trim it upside down or shake it but if you have it screwed in right it’s not going to spill in your car’s cup holder. I like that it comes in a pack of two so I can alternate each day. They are also not terribly expensive so if I break or lose one I don’t feel bad just replacing it. This is exactly what I was looking for.

I’ve had 3 sets of the going on 5 years now. These are the perfect coffee travel mugs. I just came back to see if I could order more but sadly I don’t see them anymore at a reasonable price here in Canada. They tighten up perfectly & the flip top snaps tight. They aren’t heavy or overly obvious blingy like some travel mugs & they wash up nice. They aren’t cheap feeling either. I actually use them at home every day, perfect for outside to keep your coffee warm & to keep the bugs out too haha! The rubber holders are starting to loosen so I wanted to see if I could get new ones and keep these as backups.

O copo é bom, não é térmico e é por isso que pode ir ao micro-ondas, acho isso uma grande vantagem.
