This is the second of this type of cereal container that I have purchased. I am pleased to say that I have not wasted any cereal since.The airtight seal keeps the food crispy down to the last flake.

My kids are terrible about resealing anything in the house, cereal bags included. We tried several other containers, but mini wheat cereal being a favorite around here it was tough to find a sturdy one with a hole big enough for pouring. This one wins. We love them!

The product itself is still holding up strong after at least a year. I really like the flap at the top and I haven't had any issues with sealing or quality. I didn't quite realize how small this specific product was when I bought it. I did chose it's height specifically so I guess that's on me. It just looks migger in the photo. For reference, this container hold one bag of shredded coconut perfectly, which is what I now use it for. It is a little small if you want to use it as a cereal dispenser.

The container is easy to open and close to dispense cereal. The lid flips up easily and seals well. I like the crystal clear container, it is so nice to be able to see what is inside well.

This container is good for holding cereal, but it's really only the right size for the regular box size. If you buy the giant or family sized boxes or even if you buy the cheap versions in the plastic bags, this container isn't enough to hold all the contents. Since, I got this because I was tired of cereal spilling in my cupboard from kids not closing bags/boxes well, a closed container that holds all the cereal was my main priority in getting this. This isn't terrible at that job, but if I buy the more economical sizes then I still have the problem unless I buy another container so I can spit the contents between two or buy a bigger container. I might have considered it but this container also has issues with the lid. While the it does provide a nice airtight seal when the lid is on, the lid doesn't stay on as well as it should. If there's enough of a temperature change the lid will actually pop off on it's own due to the changes in air pressure. It's also two easy to pull the whole lid off when trying to open it. It's usable as a container, the plastic is strong and feels durable, which is why I didn't give a lower rating, but the other issues make it difficult to use well.

Sturdy, keeps my cereal fresh. Space saving shape. The lid stays open until I close it. There aren't enough stars to rate how good this product is.

I buy dog food in 35 lb bags which I store in a lidded bin in the pantry. This container allows me to keep small portions of the kibble on the kitchen counter rather than scooping from the bin twice a day. One side is indented allowing easy grip for pouring. Lid seals nicely.
