This did not come to me fully annealed (which may be a good thing depending on your use). The last rolled passes must have been left as they are as the copper was quite rigid. Had to anneal it myself to work it.

This roll of copper was the perfect product to reroof 2 of my bird houses. The roofs on my wood houses were cracking from the sun, rain, and snow and water was getting inside. I found I could cut this copper sheeting with a straight edge and an xacto knife with just a couple of passes. I used a small number of tacks to hold the copper in place, and then was able to simply bend the edges down and around the side edges of the wood roofs. I used a mallet to shape the edges into place. No metal fasteners were necessary. In short, this product was perfect for what I needed.

Copper is copper so no need to really review the product in a literal sense. Instead, this review focuses on the packaging and shipping process. Unfortunately, it was poorly packed and not well protected. It arrived with creases in the product. The company delivers it in rolls surrounded by a layer of thin bubble wrap. There is no interior support for the role and no additional protective packaging. Which meant that it was pretty easy to crush during shipment. Upon unrolling, I discovered it had a deep crease from some sort of impact every few inches And would not lay flat. I couldn’t use it for what I had intended because of this defect. But set it aside, hoping to find a future purpose since the price was decent.Turn off
