This thing is awesome and came with a great supply of glue sticks. Works with all my DeWalt battery packs. Heats fast and great to have no cords, as completely cordless, so can use anywhere. Only thing I Don't like, is it has a manual ON/OFF switch, so could be left on by accident! Other that that, for the price, this thing is Awesome!

I love that it is battery powered and you aren't attached to a cord. You are unlimited to use it anywhere you want.

I plugged in a battery, inserted a glue stick and within a few minutes had glue flowing from the gun.

The gun is very heavy and the battery doesn't fit on the glue gun! Need to return!

la pistola como tal funciona bien, calienta bien, las baterias dewalt caben perfectamente, pero la silicona que viene con la pistola es una basura, no pega nada de nada, recomiendo comprar barras de silicon aparte, no confien en la que viene junto con el pedido, pero por lo demas, la pistola esta muy bien

It works great ,easy to use .Price was reasonable for a cordless glue gun. I would recommend it to anyone that prefers cordless.

UPDATE 2: I hooked up a multimeter and tested it - just as I suspected, not 100W. But I was appalled to find that it runs at only 14W! It peaked at 45W at around 5-10 seconds, then rapidly dips down to 14W and stays around there. No wonder my glue is barely melted and coming out poorly! Screenshots attached, peak power at 2.25A for a couple seconds, and then the remaining heatup time is only 0.69A (remember, Watts = Amps X Volts)UPDATE: Junk, I don't think it's 100W but can't prove it. I gave it 5 stars initially, after using it once to simply tack some things together. Since then, I have tried to use it a couple times for larger projects where I had to run a bead, and now I really hate this gun. Firstly, it doesn't get hot enough to thoroughly heat the glue (even the glue sticks that were included) so the glue solidifies almost immediately, before you can attach pieces. Second, the glue does not come out smoothly, probably at least partly because the glue isn't hot enough. All this even after it has been turned on for over 15 minutes.(Below is my first Review = 5 stars)I like the mechanical on/off switch. It's recessed, maybe for safety, or so you don't accidentally bump it into OFF while working.It took more than 5 mins to get the glue flowing, but I put "high melt/super strength" sticks in, so was expecting that.Even the smallest battery stands the drill up securely.No weird angle between tip and handle like a lot of other guns.Doesn't seem to drip, at least not with 2 minutes of idling when I use it.Went through 2 sticks and the smallest Dewalt battery still shows full charge.I appreciate the onboard battery level, which allows me to use my one Dewalt battery that has no indicator on it.I guess the only improvement I can think of, would be a readiness indicator. But that's really not important to me... the wonderful aroma of acetate says when its ready!(end of first review)
