I am a big fan of DeWalt and stay way from off-brand add ons. However, I got frustrated trying to find an extension cord for my normal heat gun and bought this set. I was, and am, very impressed! Not only is it so much easier to use than my old plug-in one, it works really well too. I'm very happy with the purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Kills the battery super fast. Not very hot. Looks like a Dewalt but not the same quality

I don’t need focused heat often, but when I do, by golly, I do. I’ve found the selection of nozzles included with this to be well-devised. For my uses, mostly gluing or ungluing or other help with furniture restoration or repair, I have all I need.The output is good. I get plenty of heat projected where I need it, making my work so much easier. And of course there’s the bonus of not having to purchase another DeWalt battery. I have several already that fit this device.This is a well engineered and useful tool that I highly recommend.
