I used this to replace the wick in my 23DK heater. It burns bright and hot, just like the original and lights quickly. It is fairly easy for a do it yourselfer to replace, although you might find a third hand to be helpful.

I was not happy with the quality of the initial product that was shipped, and my review reflected this. Happily, Western Auto Outdoor contacted me within what seemed like minutes (!) after the review appeared, and asked what I wanted to make up for the problem. I asked for a replacement wick for the damaged one. It arrived in just two days. So I changed my review to reflect their excellent customer service. As for the product, the new one looks fine, and should work fine, too.

Exactly what I was looking for and heater performance is as good as new.Advice: As with any part, remove the old one first before ordering a replacement. That way you’ll ensure an exact match.
