Folds up easy enough, exactly like most others,lights fit unit corners plug in and must be removed to fold and stow, silent ? No, considerably louder than our kitchen range exhaust fan or bathroom exhaust fan, noise level is higher than a window shaker A/C unit but much less than a vacuum cleaner, moves quite a bit of air, moving air makes noise, loudness acceptable.

The compact size and portability makes it easy for me to store when not in use. The 5’+ ventilation hose makes it a much safer work environment.
