I tried sleeping on the cot without this and it was cooler and surprisingly a lot less comfortable than it was with the pad added.The pad is thin compared to regular household mattress toppers. I was not expecting much, so it would have been easy for it to surpass my expectations, but I'm really impressed with it.It packs into a small footprint using a zip-up compression packing bag for travel and storage.

I got this pad for a hospital stay with my son. He’s in the hospital from time to time and I never thought to get one. I always just sleep on the pull out couch and end up sore every time. I decided to search for a sleep pad and gave this one a try and I’m sooo glad I did! It’s soft, warm and very comfortable. It’s the exact length of the the pull out couch in my son’s hospital room which was an added benefit. If you’re on the taller side it may not work. I’m 5’8.

Item came vacuum sealed. When opened, it never achieved the full thickness advertised. Other than that it’s good quality. Nice material, and easy to use.

It's it going to make your cot super comfortable like a cloud mattress? No, but it does give you a little cushion. Fits well on a standard cot. I was afraid that the mattress may slip around during sleep, as I tend to move around. But it stayed in place pretty well! Overall, good!

I use it as a pad under my sleeping bag, and it's incredibly comfortable. I like that it rolls up easily, comes with a carry strap, and can be stored with my sleeping bag.
