This is a generous bag of soft cotton fiber, in a perfect (for me) sage green. I do not spin this, so I can't say how it spins, but for fiber art, this is fabulous! If this seller offers more earth tone cotton fibers, I will buy 'em all!

The fibers are short and break easily, and sometimes clumpy. The quality of the fiber is really low. It is difficult to spin. I bought flax fibers from other sellers and it was much better. There is no way I would buy this product from this seller again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This cotton fiber is wonderfully soft. The colors are vivid and beautiful but the staplenlength is not 2-2.5 inches as stated in the description. The staple length of the fiber I received was 1-1.5 inches and is very difficult to spin for a beginner cotton spinner. Definitely look for another fiber if you are new to cotton spinning. I have found that carding this sliver and making my own punis has worked wonderfully but I thought I was paying a more premium price in order to have a fiber that was ready to spin for a beginner. That was not the case.

I purchased this in several colors. The flax fibers are way to short - more like tow. And they are clumpy and brittle. They were miserable to spin.

Excellent spinning quality and the texture is so smooth and easy to spin; whether on a drop spindle or spinning wheel.
