I had some issues with my arrows hunting rotation long range. They would turn right the left then right as if they weren't sure which way to spin. So after many years of that I saw a clip of someone switching due to I guess the direction the bow string twist is. On a hunch I switched to left helical and sure enough that was it. Now they just spin counterclockwise from my view and seem to be in better control of the shaft. Walaa!

I bought this a few months ago and absolutely love it! I have fletched 4 dozen arrows with it and it is so easy to use and it's fast. I haven't had a single instance where the jig failed to firmly press the fletches to the shaft. They have been perfect every time!

Really wanted to like this fletching tool (Arizona Rim Country Arizona E-Z Fletch Pro Tool - Left). Used it the same day it was delivered.Fletched first arrow according to instructions (3 fletch). Two of the three fletches had correct left helical. The third unfortunately had no helical and was actually straight fletched. Thinking I may have just done something wrong on my part. I shaved off the vanes, cleaned it up and tried again. Same results as first attempt.Re-read instructions to make sure I didn't miss anything and tried third time. Same results as first two. Since the two of the three vanes had the correct helical, my guess is that when the tool was constructed, one of the arms was built with the straight arm instead of the left helical arm.I was so disappointed by the quality check, I simply returned for refund.

I've used this now to fletch 1 dozen 11/32" diameter wood arrows, 1 dozen 5/16" diamter wood arrows, and a dozen Easton 2117 aluminum arrows. All with turkey feathers, not plastic vanes. It works well for the 11/32" and the 2117s. I found that the 5/16" shaft were a little to small to work easily with the E-Z Fletch -- several times it failed to hold the base of a feather against the shaft while the glue set. With this caveat in mind, it works well to correctly align feathers on your arrows while glue dries.

This thing is a giant waste of money. It just bends feathers and glues all the spines ruining the feather. You have to check the alignment constantly too because if you actually get a feather attached to the shaft of an arrow only probably half of it made it so it screws your alignment up then. Its also made out of cheap, flimsy plastic. For 50 Dollars this should actually work, but it doesn't. Save yourself the hassle, I bought a right and left wing one, for that amount of money you could get one made out of metal that can fletch one feather on five shafts. You practically have to only do one feather at a time anyway because the locking mechanism is so cheap it doesn't close the plastic. The manufacturer should be ashamed they even make this, much less sell it for 50 bucks, 10 or 15 maybe. It probably does okay for Vanes but Im not interested in that. It's still a piece of crap.

Works OK the only thing it could use is pin the right position to set your knock-on for proper alignment
