Bought this for a long overnight train ride. Didn't want to spring for an expensive sleeper car but wanted to be as comfortable as possible. This blanky was so cozy and it's big! Some travel blankies are so short and narrow they don't really cover your body. This one does. It's not heavy weight but I just needed it for an indoor environment to keep out the drafts and help me get some shut eye. It was perfect for that. Plus it's very light weight and was easy to pack into its little travel bag. I will definitely get a lot of use out of it on future road trips, flights and train rides.

This is just as awesome as it looks. It's light weight, packable, and can be used not just for sleeping, but as a picnic type blanket or even a sort of poncho, with it's snaps. It's quite warm for it's relative size.

I'm too cheap to buy down and wet poly filling can provide some warmth and it generally dries a lot faster, so I chose this blanket. The snaps would have better been used to make it into a "sleeping bag" versus the poncho but, the poncho thing does work. I'm six feet and a 2x parka but this thing is more than big enough for a nap on a cold day and makes my 3 season sleeping bag good down to about 15-20 degrees with a third of the weight of a 4 season bag and only slightly greater bulk.A good analog of the Army poncho liner/woobie without looking like a wanna be.

This little blanket is actually not bad. Though it appears thin, it puffs up a little more with your body heat and manages to keep you warm in temperatures around 50 or 60 degrees. Granted, this isn't something to have as your sole blanket in temps below this, but it is quite handy for the couch watching tv or in the truck for the kids on a long drive.

Update: finally used this today! It was about 50 degrees today but the wind was sooooo cold and was about 20mph. I was in a situation where I wasn’t able to put more layers on but happened to have this lovely item in my truck! It was perfect. I never felt the wind with this beautiful blanket wrapped around me! I actually came close to sweating when the sun came out!Have not had the chance to put it to the test but it is exactly as described. Bought them for our emergency packs! They are super lightweight and feel as though they would definitely help keep you warm depending on the temps and situation of course.

I ordered and did not get any updates on shipped for a few days, once it was like 3 days late, i got an email they are still waiting on the shipper. Not sure what happened there but, I canceled the order and went back to shopping and bought something else. 2 day later it said it would arrive the next day. It did arrive just before a camping trip.It is light and reasonable warm. It does retain moisture pretty bad but, it light and comfy. Took a nap with this on me in the hammock in about 40F and it was pretty perfect. I would not sleep with this as i feel like i would get sticky and not in a good way. sleeping swamp butt is bad but, in a chair or something, it should be fine. It is quite light and i was able to get it in a compression bag and even make it much smaller.

Really only bought this as a travel blanket. I work overseas on various boats and got tired of using just old boat blankets. I wanted something light that I could pack and bring with me to use as my primary blanket or in addition to the boat blanket if needed. And sure, could use it in a jam if needed while traveling. As for this blanket, it seems pretty good. The feel of it reminds me of the old nylon sleeping bags I had growing up - though this blanket doesn't have as much stuffing as those old sleeping bags. I like that it comes with snaps along one side and a couple of elastic loops (not sure what I'd need that for though). When rolled up tightly, it fits easily in the included bag. I kind of wish the bag was a little smaller since the blanket could easily fit in a smaller bag.
