The manufacturer has done a really nice job with this winch covers. They appear sturdy, complement our gray sunbrella well, and the large size is a good fit for our Lewmar 48s. It isn't often that you're pleasantly surprised when buying boat stuff, but this is one of those times.

These are very heavy-duty winch covers. Make sure you get yours that is larger than your winches base diameter.

This is a great cover. I ordered the last one Amazon had. So I bought another at West Marine. Both were supposed to be the “large†size, but they were two completely different sizes.Not sure why these are hard to find, but the medium that Amazon shipped fit perfectly.I put this on a Lewmar 45 winch.I just wish I could find 2 more.

I have Lewmar 54 ST winches The large size will not fit around the winch base. Returning the large and buying extra large.

I got compliments on these. I ordered a size larger so my sheets (wrapped around the winch) can fit under the cover too. I also noticed that our local Bay ferry installed large Robship bags on the wall to stow their lines.
