I don’t typically review items I’ve purchased, however I wanted to let people know about this particular product.Firstly, I was so excited to get this kit. I just finished a Woobles kit along with a couple intermediate projects and felt this one would be a piece of cake. WRONG! They do not have all of the instructions for these kits, and the instructions in the booklets are not accurate. I attempted to crochet the tail of the yellow doll (we all know which one) and the instructions were in the booklet, but still needed some visual assistance. Went to the QR code provided and there is absolutely no video for the tail. I had to find some random YouTube video to help me. On top of that, the doll is pictured with red cheeks, and those instructions are no where to be found. It’s easy enough to make them, but for beginners, that should have been included.Secondly, the turtle doll (avoiding names just in case), one of the instructions for the shell states to start in brown color. The picture clearly shows red in the booklet as well as when you purchase said product. There is also absolutely no brown to be found in the yarn that comes with the kit. (Probably a typo but still)Lastly, the yarn is terrible quality, the crochet hook is not accurately sized (says 4mm/3mm but does not match the other 4mm hooks I have) and the instructional videos are not very helpful. Does not include exactly where to place each piece after you’ve crocheted everything and it’s guess work at that point.Overall, due to the poor quality of this product, lack of proper instructions, and being beginner unfriendly, I don’t know if I’ll be finishing this kit. I would look into reaching out for assistance with this product but it’s well past the return date.

The head instructions in the booklet are wrong, so make sure to watch the video! As someone who is new to crocheting, I’m trying to learn how to read the instructions rather than depend on videos, so getting it wrong despite carefully following the instructions was a huge setback in confidence at first. Once I watched the video and realized it wasn’t me, I was off to the races! I’m exited to put everything together!

I ordered this kit trying to make these pokemon for my daughter, but it was more complicated than i thought. But also the thread is really low quality. It's super thin and then it would unwind when trying to use it. I eventually just gave up, i feel like i could do it if i had a thicker thread.
