About this item

  • [REPLACE PART NUMBER] E05-10505, E05 10505.
  • [REPLACEMENT FOR] Replacement for 2011-2016 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra 6.6 LML Duramax Diesel.
  • [UPGRADE DESIGN] The original screen is a single 80-micron layer, and is a very flimsy design. In extreme cases the factory screen can actually tear, introducing massive amounts of debris (from the failed pump) to the injectors. The fuel system saver valve screen is rated at 25 microns and is wrapped in two layers. This improved micron rating and double wrap construction will do a much better job of keeping debris from entering the rest of the fuel system.
  • [HIGH QUALITY] The screen and case are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel with proper deburring for durability, high cleanliness and damage resistance.
  • [NOTICE] For any reason, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us directly.

It is a lot of work to install! But if you are a DIY duramax owner and want to save your fuel system if that CP4 ever fails, install this. Only reason I installed this is because I was replacing another sensor on the fuel rail.

Arrived in a sealed package. Looks just like the pictures. Took me about an hour to install. Truck started right up after the install. Can’t tell any difference in performance after the test drive. Saved a lot of time and money.

Looks identical to Exergy in every possible dimension/finish. I have a hard time believing they both arent made in the same factory and rebranded(as what happens with many auto parts)

Product may or may not work…the main takeaway is replacing this valve runs a giant risk of ruining the CP4 pump. I may have gotten debris in mine when I replaced this. It now will not start and it looks like I will be spending $2000 on a new fuel pump. Be careful.

The metering valve arrived with a proper protective cover, unfortunately it still had damage to the mesh screen in multiple locations.

Get yourself a 6-8" long T25 tork bit before trying to install this. No need to remove A/C compressor.
