It does what it says. You can see the difference clearly and it makes for better quality video. Easy to install, especially if you install it before installing the actual dashcam. I recommend it.

This thing works surprisingly well. It is a polarizer as well as a slight ND filter. The BEFORE and AFTER shows the reflections of the dash on the windshield get reduced greatly when you find the correct orientation of the lens. Both the BEFORE and AFTER pictures were direct sunlight, but due to the lens having a slight shade color to it, it does make it look like a cloud was covering the light.Installation was super simple, just remove the adhesive cover and press it over the camera lens of the dashcam. the plastic molding around the camera will align it properly to be nice and center.I mainly wanted to write this review so if anyone searches the keywords to see if it fits the Toyota RAV4 FITCAMX camera, hopefully this helps out. One of the other reviews shows rainbow coloring in the picture, but that is caused by the windshield itself and not the polarizing filter.

I purchased this filter (CPL-3345) for the FitCamX dash camera kit that fits my Ford Mustang. It helps remove the dash's reflection on a sunny day. Dash reflection is an issue; I wish this filter was included with the dash camera kit since the filter is a must-have , in my opinion. This anti-glare filter is a bit overpriced but I do not regret buying it.

Huge reduction in glare and eliminates the annoying reflection from the dashboard in bright sun, night images look nice and crisp. I like the fact that you can adjust the polarization by rotating the lenses until you get the perfect image. Peeling the 3M backing was the most difficult part of the install.

I bought this to go with my dash camera and the lens is 10x the size of the lens. There was no way to get it to work including trying to pin it between the windshield and casing.

The filter works great! I was having issues with glare on the windshield, especially at night, interfering with video quality. As soon as I installed it and rotated to the right angle, there was a huge difference (included photos of before and after). FitCamX support was great as well as my dash cam didn’t have a lens that fit, but they sent me a new shell that fit the 3390 lens, and the dash cam still fits perfectly behind the rear view mirror. Definitely worth the money for the improvement in video quality.

It’s amazing how this filter removes almost all of the glare. Once installed, it can be rotated for the best glare reduction. As you turn it, you can literally see any glare disappear. It was easy to install, I put it on before I installed the camera into the vehicle.
