Works great! Very happy! My children have been using this dispenser in the main bathroom for going on 6 weeks now. I mounted it on the large bathroom mirror using velcro. THERE IS A TRICK TO DISPENSING! If you want to pull out your papertowel, w/o ripping your papertowel to shreds, YOU MUST PULL STRAIGHT DOWN. That's it. Simple! There are four sharp-ish corners near the middle of the slot where you pull the papertowel out. If you pull forward instead of down, the papertowel catches and rips. Very annoying! I bought the big box of folded papertowel from Costco, and the velcro strips for a couple bucks from Walmart. Hope this info helps!

So, I'm moving away from paper towel rolls. Buying multi-fold paper towels is less expensive and provides a more useful "SHEET" of paper. This product helps me to have multi-fold towels in my house and does not look too commercial. I am having mine mounted right next to the kitchen sink. The clear plastic just blends in with the already white background. I only wish the plastic lid was attached on a hinge and that the rest of the unit was not so flimsy feeling. We have had no issue pulling paper towel out one at a time, as some of the other reviewers have mentioned.

When I pulled the unit out of the shipping box the lid fell onto a hard floor and chipped one corner of the lid. It's not noticeable. The lid sits on top, only held in place by a ridge around the perimeter.Assembly was easy, but two mounting screws are not accessible. I used a piece of 8 1/2 by 11 paper to make a template with the three mounting holes. I used this to locate the holes in the wall and inserted the mounting screws. By doing this I could then just hang the rack from the mounting bolts. One bolt is accessible and I tightened that one. All-in-all, it went up easy and looks okay for what O was looking for.

Their description says customers are having trouble with paper towels ripping in pieces while trying to pull out.I fixed the problem....this is actually a very sturdy holder....I bought the narrow skinny paper towels for it as they pull out quite nicely once you pull out the starter towel. Instead of bolting to wall, I used 6 velcro command strips...two heavy duty ones on all for corners of the back and two smaller ones in the center. Once adhered to the wall and allowed its hour to cure securely I loaded it with the paper towels and put on the cap. Believe me....once you get the hang of pulling them out you will really like this thing...so much cheaper to buy paper towels in bulk than the rolls...you can save quite a bit of money. I even got so good at pulling them out I can even pull them out perfectly now even if my hands are really wet. Make sure you get the sturdier thin towels.... I got.....Pacific Blue Select Multifold Premium 2-Ply Paper Towels by GP PRO (Georgia-Pacific), White, 21000, 125 Paper Towels Per Pack, 16 Packs Per Case. If the paper towels move around too much inside the holder, I secured the movement by folding a few paper towels and sticking them in the lower backside to make the fit a bit tighter. Make sure to press the velcro things all the way to wall so the wall and holder clicks and snaps which means they are interlocking for a really tight secure hold. I do NOT remove it from the wall to refill it....I made sure my hand had room to remove the clear cover top and insert more towels from the top by dropping them in and lining them up through the front window slit open area. Do not wait for it to be completely empty or you will have to re-feed a towel through the bottom opening....I just add more towels when 1/4 empty.

item looks nice. very simplistic and not too large and cumbersome. with all the increased hand-washing these days, i purchased a box of z-fold single ply paper towels a few weeks ago since paper towels were hard to find at the stores. wanted something to hold the towels and free up space on my kitchen counter. very easy to install. as most people have noted, towels do not pull out very easily, resulting in tears and rips. especially with a single ply towel. double-ply might work better or a different fold type as well. i was able to get towels out ok by doing a 3 part pull for my z-fold towels. basically pull once out til it gets to the first fold, then pull the opposite direction till the next fold, then pull back out. this way the towel comes out clean and no rips. if i would try to just pull straight down in one motion, the towel would always rip. so kind of an inconvenience but think i'll get used to it. also helps to not have the dispenser completely full, just about half way to reduce the weight pushing down on the towel that you are trying to pull out. the top piece is not very secure, but is just there to cover the top opening from like dust.

Yes, theres alot of friction when pulling the towels out. Yes, two hands are required. It's the same for other towel dispensers I've purchased. The cut-out at the bottom is sharp. I've sanded it down a bit which helps. I'd buy this again. The bulky ugly institutional ones look so bad. This one looks great. The cover on top is my favorite part. Sits nicely.

I love it. It has saved me so much money on paper towels. During the pandemic, rolls of paper towels are often hard to come by but multifold paper towels are plentiful and are more cost effective. I'm never going back. lt's also easy to use and looks nice too. I used the suggestion of a previous poster to attach it with command strips. Genius idea!(so quick and easy and no holes in the wall.)

I like how it’s clear and easy to install but this thing is useless because when you pull the paper towel, it rips it apart. In order for you not to rip it, you have to pull it out really really slowly. Not convenient at all. It’s already past my return date so I’m just using it to hold paper towel in a less busy area and take the paper towel from the top.

El que la tapa solo esté sobre puesta no me convence pero tampoco se cae de la nada, probablemente esa caracterÃstica no sea buena para uso en lugares públicos. Sin embargo se ve bastante elegante y su diseño sencillo se adapta a una decoración minimalista, que tanto están de moda. Además su uso e instalación son sencillas aunque sà requires de herramientas que no incluyen en el paquete, por supuesto.
