I needed to replace the worn and stretched bungee tie downs of my Pelican brand kayak. After lots of research looking for metal crimp ends, the Craftdady ones were the only ones I could find large enough for 3/16" cord. The original bungee cord for my kayak is 3/16", and these crimps were the perfect size. The original metal crimps for my kayak were a bit larger, but these crimps worked fine.This repair saved my lots of money compared to the OEM parts, and I have lots of material left over for future repairs/use.

Saw a tutorial online for making an elastic strap for the plastic cover for a journal, using something like this at the ends to keep it attack to the cover. This looked exactly like the ones in the video I saw and did exactly what I needed them to do. I do have a lot of extras but I felt these were the best price. Plus I hadn’t measured my elastic very well so to shorten it, I had to cut off the parts with these on and redo it. It was too tricky to try to reopen the barbs so having extra worked out. Good price and worked for what I needed!

It Works, it stretches. However, I took off one star because there is absolutely no instruction on how to attach those silver tabs. I just figured it out on my own but I’m still not sure I got it right

You need these to replace the bungee cord on Pelican kayaks. Works great with 3/16 inch bungee.

Surprisingly, one can buy plastic badge replacements and the paper to print the names on, but no where could I find replacement elastic cords for the plastic tags. So I found these and made my own. The cord is good quality and all it takes is a pair of pliers to adhere the metal ends.
