I use my Arbor press on most of my stamps. Soaked the leather for a few minutes and wiped off the excess. This was used on 2-3mm thick leather.

Whereas this stamp has a nice, heavy weight to it, it has too many subtle/shallow details, it is difficult to carry those details over to the leather, especially the upper parts of the wings. It is an attractive stamp, though, and a good value. I would probably purchase it again.

I plan on making some personal leather tags on some of my leather jackets and this is terrific!
