This is a great product! This product is excellent for anything you wish to protect but be see like looking in a mirror. I loved using the mats over items like tables that are made of exotic woods. The mats are good for craft projects and even over recipes while cooking. The only issue is that the mats cannot be cleaned back to clear transparency if soiled with food. In so doing, a film is left, but if one does not mind then it is ok. Because the cost is affordable, just replace the mat with another. The Customer Service is excellent. They are very responsive and helpful--not like Microsoft or Norton's. I enjoyed working with the Customer Service for this product.

I purchased these to protect my wood table and love the acrylic! Hard to see in the photos but they are nice and thick, easy to clean and perfect size! I like that they are clear and I can still see my pretty tablecloth underneath! Highly recommended!

These placemats work well, but they fo show marks easily. I like their neutrality. They're easily used anywhere in the house.

I love these placements. They are clear and shiny. They have a protective sheet on each one that has to be peeled off to see how clear they are. I needed mats on my kitchen table because hot food on paper plates were causing spots on my table. These will prevent that from happening. Itรขโฌโขs just what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend.

We use them as placemats primarily and they are perfect for that. I have also used them to prep my meals and also to put the utensils I cook with such as spoons and forks. The plastic is easy to keep clean

Edited: while I was washing dishes, I went to wash one of these. The hot water warped it immediately. I don't recommend these as dinner placemats. I'm going with silicone instead, even though they are translucent, not clear like these. I will still use these for my kids to draw and write on.I like to use fabric table cloths, so I bought these to protect my tablecloths from my kids' (and mine too, let's face it) messy eating. Pros: They are crystal clear, so don't stand out and you can see the table cloth perfectly through it. The ones I received are exactly 12 x 18 inches, so the description is correct. They are thick and sturdy. Cons: They look like they might scratch easily, and I'm not sure how heat resistant they are, since they are plastic, not silicone. Also, one of the photos make it look like they are pretty flexible, but they are not. They are difficult to bend, and you definitely could not roll them. Also, they are slick so they won't stay in place. I am going to keep them to try them out. If they don't work out for dinner placemats, then they will still be useful. I have been looking for something that my kids can use to make a harder surface for their papers when they draw or write at the dining table or desks. These will work great for that!

These are the worst placemats you could ever buy cheap plastic not even real placemats to use you canรขโฌโขt put nothing hot on these you still have to use some kind of a pot holder which makes no sense the heat will transfer through these cheap plastic things and destroyer table cloths.If you have a dry erase pen and you want to write notes on them and wipe them off thatรขโฌโขs all theyรขโฌโขre good for.They are also thin and flimsy.
