Right out of the box the first thing I noticed about this crank cocking device is its robust construction. It would seam a key piece or two somehow didnt make the trip and Im not so sure if it was complete that its as "Barnett" Universal as what they say, Im going to call this a high risk purchase and suggest you keep shopping.

The product looks well made and I was excited to try it. However the main bolt was missing. If you look on the product pics it’s not on there either. (The bolt that holds the two spools with the rope wrapped around it together) it shows it on the instructions and where it goes but it is not in the package. It does tell what size it is so it may be possible to find one at a hardware store. It must be Allen head tho. On the photo below it’s bolt #11 without it the spool would fall apart and you would be seriously injured. The bolt for the crank only screws in to one side of the spool and does not hold them together.

Worked great for replacing my broken one on my Barnett crossbow. Very functional.
