I wanted to make a snail trail quilt and began by cutting out the pieces the pattern indicated. None of the first 3 blocks came out to the size it stated they would and all were different sizes! Well with more digging I saw a video using this ruler and the light bulb reach full illumination. I started cutting the pieces according to the ruler directions and they are coming out perfectly. So many other uses for this ruler too but if you want to do a snail trail block you can't go wrong with this ruler. I also got the rotating mat from this company and it makes piecing a joy again.

I love this ruler. A little tricky at first but after watching a Shabby Fabric video I figured it out. Produces a really nice snails trail block.

I typically do not buy speciality rulers but I had many ~72 square on square blocks to make. This ruler made it easy to trim for each square I added. This ruler eliminated my concern about using the incorrect ruler marks to trim each round.

The ruler its self is in surprisingly reasonable shape, and being a creative grid ruler will be of great benefit to me. Had there been a leave seller feed back I would have complained about the shocking flimsy packaging. So I don't suppose this will be printed.

making my first quilt with it. the grips are great, hold the material as you cut. lines are very clear and easy to see
