Hi, this is the clay of choice for me. Soft, easy to use, if you re package it in between using it,, will not dry out. I am using for the IOD Prima molds and love the quality of this paper clay. I purposely left a small amount in a double bag, one zip lock inside a larger bag to see if it would dry out and it did not, just ensure you release all of the air out of the zip bag. Worked for me. I purchased two of these along with other paper clay products to try with my new molds, love love this one and will get again, so easy to use and mold into the delicate designs especially when using the Iron Orchid Design molds.I am utilizing these for little wooden boxes, furniture and more. I am showing some pictures, also with my reviews of the molds, to show you the quality of this paper clay. drying process, some still look damp, I may have used too much, still playing with it, so you can see how these pieces turn out. Most of the pictures are with this brand, if you see some thicker ones, my boo boo, I used another brand, that I did not like as much, but it still worked okay. This is fun, great for you and the kiddos, start something, a project, this will teach them patience, ha ha, ask me I know! Anyway I hope you found this review helpful, please ask any questions, I will answer all of them. I also read all of the reviews before I purchase, as I am on a really fixed income, so I appreciate those that take the time to speak their mind, give hints and tips and also recommend a product, here on Amazon, that they like love as well. Sure helps, so thank you guys and gals! Much appreciated by this lady! :) Thank you for reading my review, have fun with this clay! My fave! :) Kat

This was my first year making Christmas tree ornaments using Paperclay. I've made Springerle cookies for years & everyone is always very impressed. Many have not eaten the cookies, saying they are just too pretty to eat. I've seen ornaments made with these moulds on a few Martha Stewart articles & decided to try my luck with Paperclay. This clay was easy to roll out & the moulds worked perfectly to impress. Any imperfections can be gently smoothed out - which was impressive. I let them dry via the information on the directions, then painted them. They became better looking the longer they sat out. I'm not what I'd call creative, but I'm going to try these again using the techniques recommended for the look of Wedgewood. Wishing myself luck!

I agree with one of the other reviews that this is a little difficult to work with. It's a little stiff and dense..it doesn't really want to stick to anything easily, even to it itself very well; you have to be pretty assertive about it. A little water on your finger tips help smooth it around, but I think I would opt for a different product next time. I found myself dealing with its issues more than creating with any ease.

I've never used paper clay before, so this was an experiment. It's definitely a learning curve from earth based clay, but it was pretty easy to get the hang of. I was using it to make 2x3 inch magnetic photo frames, so I was just rolling them into sheets and cutting out rectangles. Left if flat to dry and there was some warping, but that probably could've been avoided with with some kind of wire wrack or mesh stand that lets both sides dry evenly. It was more difficult to smooth out than earth clay, and liked to hold onto accidental marks, but all those buffed out with sandpaper once it was dry.Overall it was pretty good for the money, definitely lighter than earth based clay, which is the reason I tried it. Two thumbs up from me.

I love it. I experimented with it for mask making and it worked very well. I rolled it out, cut, and shaped it. I'm experienced with clay but was aware that this material IS NOT CLAY. It worked in a way that was very similar to clay but with the advantage of drying without a kiln. The poor reviews seem to have misunderstood that it isn't clay. It's paper mâché product. It works like very good paper mâché.

I used this for a sculpture in my college art class. It dried very quickly and was fairly easy to work with. However, it became somewhat brittle and I had to use super glue for the more delicate parts of my piece. There were so many cracks that I had to patch, so make sure to save a little bit to use once it dries. I am so glad the package told me this!I got an A+ so thank you!
