I ordered the Crescent Womb, Infant Support Device thinking that it'd be a great place for the baby to sleep and/or play, and that it'd help prevent a flat head syndrome. Unfortunately, this net isn't approved for sleeping. It's only for use during "downtime". Not realizing that was completely my mistake for not thoroughly reading the product description. Regardless, it'll at least be put to good use during downtime for the little one's first year of life. My biggest criticism is that it's suggested that it be washed after it's used 2 to 3 times. (I'm not sure what that's about.......) To be honest, I'm confused as to why something that's not intended to be used during sleeping would need to be washed so frequently. Especially since young infants have so little downtime. Regardless, it says that it reduces the pressure on the skull up to 90%, and reduces flat head syndrome. Both of which are good things. In spite of it not being suitable for sleeping, and it needing to be washed after every 2 to 3 times it's used, I do recommend this "Infant Support Device". It'll definitely get more use once the infant gets a few months old. It looks very comfortable!! It's well worth noting that it is a universal fit. This device easily attaches to the corners of the crib. Bedside being a safe place for baby to spend its downtime, this looks incredibly comfortable. Plus, if it'd reduce the chance of a flat head, it'll be well worth more than it costs.

This baby sling arrived quickly. The product packaging box did have some kind of oil damage that thankfully did not seep all the way through or impact the product itself. This is an infant support device that is intended to minimize pressure on your newborn’s skull to prevent or reduce flat head syndrome. It is a universal sling that can be used with any standard crib by simply adjusting and securing the straps on each corner. The material seems durable and the center where baby lays is very comfortable, much like a hammock. I like that it is machine washable and can be dried on low heat/tumble dry or you can hang dry. Per the included instructions, you should wash after every 2-3 uses. This device is intended for babies 0-12 months old up to 20lbs and should NOT be used with a child who is able to sit up or push themselves up on hands and knees unassisted. Another big thing to consider is that it is not intended to be used during periods of unsupervised sleep, therefore kind of defeating the purpose of using at night. The main thing is that yes it does effectively by limiting pressure on baby’s skull. The downfall is just how short lived this product will be, especially given the cost. Unless your little one is a premie or is struggling with growth and motor skill goals, they will likely hit the weight and/or motor skills restrictions within the first 3-6 months max. The price point does seem a bit high for how quickly it will be outgrown, though there really aren’t a lot of comparable products on the market so it may be well priced for what it is. Overall, I do feel like this is an interesting device that could be incredibly useful during those first months, but with the limitations on when/how it can be used along with the safety restrictions I can’t say that it is worth the investment. Buyer would have to determine if it would fit their needs within weight and mobility restrictions. Neutral recommendation.
