Rugged BCD with integrated removable weight pockets. A winning mix of our top-of-the-line Aquaride andour Aquapro 5 workhorse makes this a very durable entry-level retail bcd. The R1 is made of Durable500-Denier Cordura, ideal for rental solutions or for intense use. The BCD comes with a Rigid Back Plate that is padded, and is equipped with a Built-In Carry Handle. The R1 has 3-exhaust valves to make buoyancy adjustments easy.

This is my second Cressi R1 BCD. It’s made well , true to size and allows you to maintain vertical positioning at the surface. I would definitely recommend this.

This is my first BCD, and I'm happy so far after 2 dives. It works like it's supposed to. I'm 5' 10" 175lbs and a Medium fits perfect.UPDATE: I've been on an additional 18 dives this past summer (2022) and everything is still working great with this BCD

The bcd itself is amazing. But I had a bad experience i ordered a large and received a med. When it came in I opened it and immediately headed out with a group of friends for a dive e had planned. We got to the beach with great expectations for the day. Needless to say I was forced to sit on the beach with the bcd not fitting me and watch my friends dive.

It didn’t come with trim pockets attached or even have any at all but you can buy those separately and attach 2, on each side, to the back of the bcd on the strap that secures the tank (according to Reddit) so I’m going to try it and see how well it works out!

Nice BCD, durable material. Fits me well after I adjusted the cumberbund (waist band). I used the sizing chart to order. Waist band is adjustable by changing holes on the backplate.

fits a little large I got a XL and I wear a XL jacket I could have gotten a L I'm 6' and 190lbs other than a little large its perfect weight pockets are tight lock and buckles are good quality. I have use this on 20 dives so far with no Problems

During my first dive, the right side weight pouch broke. Pictures are included. The weight system itself is an odd sliding assembly that is pretty difficult to slide back into the BC. For the price, the BC is OK but made from cheap plastic.
