Great, easy solution. Wish I had known about these years ago! Was simple to apply to strap, not sure what the difficulty was for others (or likely may have related more to their mask strap set-up than this item).

At last, something that really works to save your hair while putting on and taking off your mask! And I love the color. I bought this to go on my Cressi mask and I'm impressed with the way it's made. It won't be slipping around while you put your mask on. It's designed to stay in place once you install it over your mask strap. Like most Cressi products it's high quality yet affordable.

I saw one of these on a mask a while back and decided to try it out. It fits over the plastic strap on your dive mask and that's it. The Velcro tabs fit between the two strap pieces that widen on the back of your head. It keeps them from binding up on each other.After that it has been incredibly comfortable. Normally when putting on or removing my mask the strap pulls my hair, which is a pain. This has eliminated that and feels great while diving. If I have to adjust my mask it lets me do so with out the hair pulling that would normally accompany that minor effort.If you dive more than once a year or so, this is a must. For the price (super affordable), the comfort you get is beyond worth it.I ended up getting the pink one and a black one for my dive buddies because it worked so well for me.

If you don't have one of these yet you need to get one. The quality and comfort make snorkeling or diving such a more pleasant experience for those with hair and even those without. A very inexpensive solution to a problem that has caused so many headaches and cut short previous trips in the water. They make great gifts and stocking stuffers for anyone you know that enjoys diving.

I use this to cover the strap as indicated. It makes putting on/taking off the mask SUPER easy, and it doesn't pull my hair (or what I have left, that is).It's very comfortable with the padding, and somehow, it doesn't slip on the back of your head. I ordered a second for my back-up mask.A great deal at this price. i subtracted off one star simply because it takes a long time to dry, which means waiting a week before packing it back up in my mask case for storage after a dive.

Kind of tricky to put on the mask the first time but it's easy after that. My kids love them because the mask stays on but they don't have the grippy silicone sticking in their hair.

these are so relatively inexpensive, and make such a huge difference in mask comfort. i think that's true regardless of hair length or head size or whatever. the mask stays put where you want it, and can be adjusted without tearing your hair out. the cressi ones have little nice details, like velcro inside to hold the straps in place.

I wish they'd had these when I learned to scuba dive -- they're so much more comfortable with long hair, so my hair doesn't get tangled in the straps. Even in a ponytail, it used to get tangled taking the mask on and off. It lost a star for being a little difficult to get on the mask, but that might have been more about my mask than this strap cover.

Must admit, it was way larger then I was expecting. That just means that it protects more of my hair from being pulled out but still. If I had any smaller of head it would be past the buckles on my goggles. Though I’m sure it looks ridiculous to be wearing something that covers a large portion of my head, it will do its job so I’m happy. Next time though I may just look into a replacement strap with the neoprene back instead of getting a strap cover.
