  • The pockets fit perfectly into their places.

The Patrol BC is an impressively light weight, rear inflation BC that is anatomically designed for maximum comfort and durability. The special air cell compression strap guarantees extra quick deflation and volume control. The ultralight rigid back plate with its integrated carrying handle ensures optimal stability. The Patrol also features Cressi’s Flat-Lock-Aid integrated weight system that makes it easy to release the pockets. There are 3 pressure relief valves: one on the upper part of the hose, one valve on the right-hand side of the shoulder and a third on the lower right-hand side of the air cell. The Patrol also features plastic d-rings to help reduce weight and the shoulder and waist harness are fully adjustable to one full size up or down from the stated size.

Used 7 days straight of intense boat diving, worked very well. Added tank strap trim pockets (any 2 inch strap brand will do) are a must for proper balance (should come with them but they are cheap). I used 55% weight in the wing pockets and 45% in tank strap pockets - your balance may differ. The straps for everything are adjustable, eliminating most any fit issue or conversion from no exposure suit to something very bulky.Air dump can happen 4 ways -- traditional hose valve, or pull down on the inflation hose opens a port at the top left, or right side pull cord, or bottom right pull cord. All very convenient. There is a "pocket" that is clumsy at best -- I left it rolled up and secured, with all of my add-on gear either clipped directly on or clipped to retractors. A real pocket somewhere, maybe the sides of the weight pockets, might be appreciated but not a major loss. The benefits are lightweight, easy to adjust, fits well in the mesh boat bag for transport.

This BCD is well built yet light weight and full featured. It feels good enough and has all the features of a normal BC without the extra weight and bulk, making it perfect for normal diving as well as vacation diving. It packs away pretty flat in a suit case and weighs very little.I highly reccomend this BC for just about any kind of diving situation but especially for traveling or for those people that just want to shave 10lbs off their gear weight without losing features.

Its light weight and folds well for travel. straps are adjustable to fit snug. very bouyant but like all donuts, it pushes you forward on the surface. takes some effort to lean back. I found it easy to maneuver in water. Undecided about weight pockets. I think i prefer a belt bc i can put weights in back which is easier to maneuver. I could do wo the weight pockets (personal preference).

As others said, the fact that this isn’t a jacket style bcd means it only fills with air in the back. When floating on surface, air in back and not on sides tips you forward a bit. Also, it doesn’t have a cummerbund Velcro fitting in front - only a buckle - which means it doesn’t fit as snug. When swimming, it doesn’t matter but it’s less supportive of weight of tank when full at start of dive. The quick release weight pockets are great. All 3 features make this BCD more portable for travel which is what I wanted. I’m only pointing out the effect of these style differences. I didn’t realize it comes with hose for tank, which is nice bonus. Overall, Cressi product is great.

I've had my Cressi Patrol BCD over a year now. I have several dive trips overseas since, flying 1,2, and 3 week trips. I'm a minimalist and don't check any bags regardless the length of stay. The Cressi Patrol BCD has been a great fit for my travel needs. I have had one issue with the weight pocket(s), one of them had starting coming apart at the stitching. I use soft weights, 1 four lbs and 1 two lbs in each pocket. I contacted Cressi warranty department and within a week I had a new weight pocket, no questions asked. Great customer service and great travel BCD. No trim pocket(s) needed. Adjust you tank to achieve your trim. Safe diving!

Purchased brand new Cessi BCD and was only able to use it 4 times til it broke on my special dive trip to Columbia. Very disappointed with the quality of this product

Great for my small child, it’s just a simple BCD so not much to say about it. Fasteners are nice, and integrated weight pockets stay in firmly secured.

I have 10 dives on this bcd and I have found it to be an excellent value for the cost. No complaints. It is built like a tank.

Ottimo giubbotto da consigliare sopratutto per chi si sposta in aereo e deve tener presente il peso del proprio bagaglio.

I am so glad I bought this BCD. It is great quality and fits perfect. It is so much better then anything I had before, which where all Jacket style BCDs. The comfort is great and is adjustable in many ways that it could fit anyone (I am 189cm tall and weight way to much right now and ordered the XL) being a backinflator BCD it is much easier to keep your perfect balance underwater and the best part is you don't feel squeezed in. It is very lightweight too and makes it perfect fro travel.I'll never go back to a jacket style BCD.

I've been diving for decades and I've always used a standard BCD. My last two have been Cressi BCDs and they've been excellent. When my last jacket got a slow leak in it I decided to opt for the Patrol wing-style BCD because I liked the way it has minimal clutter in the chest area. The offset is that it has no pockets (except the small drop-down one), but I always found the pockets on my old BCD hard to access, and I generally wear tech shorts, so that gives me more easily accessible pockets anyway.I couldn't be happier with the result. My underwater trim is noticeably better than previously and the jacket is very comfortable. The uncluttered chest area is particularly good, the integrated weights work well and overall it's made me more streamlined in the water. The only slight niggle is that it has no trim-weight pockets. I've gotten around this by attaching two 1kg weights to my tank using a spare BCD cam-band. I'll probably remove these when wearing my thinner summer suit, so it's an acceptable workaround. Aside from that it's excellent, and very good value compared to the more serious tech wing set-ups - Apeks etc.
