Not a bad 3-D scanner program is a little bit sketchy as it consistently asked me for my password so I can have access to the camera. If you don’t have a strong computer it will take a while to process all the frames at the moment. I have the scanner that hooks up to your computer, but I do believe if you have the money, spend it on getting the scanner that hooks up with your mobile device as you’re gonna want to scan stuff that will be difficult to do with your laptop attached something to keep in mind

At this time I can only review the shipping and looks of the product. Can't get it to connect to any of my laptops or phones that are all on the list of devices to use. Hopefully it's just user error and not junk

I have a 3D printing side hustle and one of the items I offer is scanning to reprint broken pieces that are hard to replace. I have two other scanners and this one falls right in the middle of the pack in terms of quality and ease of use. Any kind of scanning will take some time to get comfortable with the process and requires a bit of knowledge of proper lighting of your subject. For functional parts I'm able to print directly from the scans about 30% of the time. The other 70% require some amount of clean-up in a tool like MeshMixer. Overall, pretty happy with this scanner.

I found this scanner easy to setup and use.For this scanner to work well you will need to have proper lighting to do so. The times I had problems scanning something was when the lighting was a little too dark.The software took me a little time to figure out, but after watching some YouTube videos I understood it better.Overall, I am happy with this scanner.

Just like a photograph, this requires just the right lighting and technique to get right.The SE model is the stripped down version of the others but offers the same scanner without the added battery packs, case, and app capabilities.Don’t expect to scan something perfectly and have it edited in 10 minutes. It may take a few times to get right. However, it’s a lot faster than trying to make the object in a CAD program.I would highly recommend getting a turntable, led lighting, and a good space to set everything up.
