I cannot say enough how much I love this mobile music box. First of all, functionally, it does everything you would want it to do: it done the Mobile and plays music, but this is so much better than those wind up options. I love that you can set it to play music and soon, or just spin, or just play music. It also has volume control, which is great (if I'm being picky, it would be better if it remembered your volume choice each time you use it instead of having to turn it down each time). Finally, the best part about this spinner is the music itself.. it's actually piano renditions of nursery rhymes and some other soothing songs that are actually pleasant to listen to. This turns off after 30 minutes, which for me is perfect (as long as I remember to lower the volume when I turn it on!). I can't speak to longevity of the battery yet, but so far so good!You will not regret buying this.

This is just what I needed to replace the old broken windup music box that came with my baby's mobile. It plays full lullabies in gentle piano tones, and I found the volume to be perfectly adjustable. Battery powered means that I don't have to wake the baby with winding a noisy music box, and it shuts off automatically after a while. She loves it!

Send it!All jokes aside, this is a perfect little gadget. Our baby loves gazing at the mobile now, and the music is really nice and relaxing. The Cindi Lauper song was driving us nuts because we couldn't figure out what it was at first, so vaguely familiar but we couldn't quite place it! It's a funny little easter egg, and is a nice respite from all the traditional lullabies you've all heard a thousand times.

They should sell this as a CD lullaby piano solos. The music is so beautiful and calming, volume goes up and down, can skip through songs, and choose turning only, music only or both. Perfect! And can't beat the price.

I hated the motor that came with my son's mobile. Even at the lowest volume it was too loud and the music was terrible. This motor is wonderful and I'm glad I purchased it. The volume isn't too loud and the songs are a lot more peaceful. Can't say much for the battery life because I haven't been using it that long, but overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Our mobile came without music or a spinner so this was perfect! Plays calming music for our newborn, not too quiet and not too loud!
