This was the first cartridge I purchased for my cricut expression...It is a great investment if you are into scrapbooking, cardmaking, baby decor, etc. My daughter is 5 months old and I will be using this cartridge for her scrapbook/baby book, birthday invitations, thank you cards, baby mobiles, baby wall decorations...The ideas are endless!! I recently sent out a gift to my daughter's friend in Washington and I made a card using the snail and mailbox, and literally in 5 minutes- I was done- assembled and everything. I even printed out a sign that said, "Special Delivery" and placed it on top! I had so much fun. I used to draw and cut decorations by hand- and it was okay when I was still pregnant. I had all the time in the world to execute crafts by hand, but as a new SAHM, I find that the cricut is the best purchase yet along with the create a critter! If you're into cute things and cute animals-- purchase this!! You will be glad you did.

This is the best cartridge and my only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. The layers are so easy to cut and put together. I also bought some chalks from amazon and using the chalks to these diecut to add some depth just ups the extreme cuteness of them. Whenever a family member has come by my craft desk since I have been cutting out these shapes they stop and make comments about how great they look. I started out making a shape from the cartridge but I love them so much I have already made almost everyone and some twice. My best friend came over and when she saw them she immediately had to take some of them home with her to use. They can be embellished to make them more feminine or masculine. I would definitely recommend this cartridge!

I love this cartridge so much. The most prominent to me is the owl, cute little reindeer, pig and hippopotamus. I bought one for my friend and she regularly uses the bee so that she can host "Mother to bee" parties for her friends and relatives. The little reindeer, I use for my Christmas cards while I use the owl for Valentine's Day cards. So sweet and pretty!If you are fairly new to Cricut and paper crafting like me, it will take a while to get used to; then, everything simply falls into place.I prefer the physical cartridges to the e-cartridges because, to me, it feels as if you always have a backup in the event something goes wrong with your cartridge or you no longer have access to your account.So, I highly recommend this cartridge. You really can't go wrong with the host of phrases and images available in this one.

This is the only cartridge I have purchased for my Cricuit (I use Sure Cuts A Lot- which is unfortunately blocked for new Cricuit users). With two small children, this is a great cartridge to own. Offers a variety of animals with cute sayings which were great for Valentine's Day and will continue to be fun for party invites, birthday cards and thank yous from the kids. Such a versatile cartridge.

I have only used this cartridge once in the year I've owned it. It requires a LOT of paper to make one critter. Combined with crappy mats that don't stick very well, confusing sizing settings, and about 4 different layers that need to be cut- it takes at least a half an hour to make one critter- and about five sheets of paper (after all the trial and error you have to do with sizing and throwing out the parts that got ruined.) I like the cricut cartriges that cut out words and stuff- but these ones are too much work for something that would look just as cute printed off a colored printer.

I have to be honest right off the bat, I purchased this cartridge after receiving a a gift certificate. Mainly because I have a niece who adores monkeys. So you can imagine my surprise when I discovered just how wonderful this cartridge is! I just love making all the little critters. I highly recommend and mixing and matching solid and prints, the result is just adorable. I would say the only drawback is that sizes smaller then 1 inch don't come out as well. However I promise you the positives far out weigh that one negative. As a side note: I would suggest buying a cheep back of different sized googly eyes, you know the kind you can find in the kid's crafting aisle, adding these really make the little critters pop! I bought it less than two weeks ago and have used almost none of my other many cartridges. I can't recommend this "Create A Critter" Enough"!

Cartridge arrived several days prior to projected delivery date. Brand new packaging, never opened. The product itself is wonderful. I have cut out several critters to put together with my grandson. Each critter consists of layers and there are accessories that may be cut out for the critters as well. This cartridge will offer many hours of fun...both for adults and children!
