This set could have been made identically 100 years ago, but that's not all bad. The tools work. For the small project for which I used it, it was great. I would not want to make a leather jacket with it...but with enough practice and a lot of determination you probably could...

Good starting kit for the price. Not bad if you're trying to get into leather work and don't want to spend alot of money.

We used this kit to create our first leather projects. We did a wallet, sheath, and notebook holder. It’s missing some tools for making the edges nice but to make the stitching hold and the thread all worked really well.These aren’t 5 stars for quality… but for the $ these worked great for us so 5 stars given in this review.

Do not be fools! The picture shows 10 spools, but the description said 8, and it arrived 8. Very disappointed.
