I just started learning to crochet and this kit is perfect to get me started with a little bit of everything. Keep in mind that this is an all in one, beginners kit, for a great deal. The items are not top quality, but they are all still decent to get you started with this craft to see if you like it. The bag is a bit flimsy and cheap, but it does hold all of the items and the zipper works well. It keeps everything contained and in one place. The yarn is decent and the color selection is awesome. Very vibrant colors. The plastic tool box is not the best. The smaller items sometimes move around in the compartments, but again, everything is contained in the box and kept together. The various hooks provide options to work with different types of yarn. Not sure that I will need them all, but it is nice to have all of the sizes. I love that I have stitch markers in multiple colors to keep me on track when working on a project. I also like that the scissors come with a cover since I generally keep that floating around in my bookbag (that I bought separately).

I purchased for my granddaughter for Christmas and she loved it! It was a perfect kit! It was worth what I paid for it. Lots of colors of yarn.

I got this for a project at school. I love that there is so much variety, it all comes in a storage bag, and has starter tools I'll use later. This is a great option, especially for those just starting who want to play with different colors without having to make a huge investment or use a lot of storage space.

The set is great with all the items I need to start crocheting again, but the yarn is cheap and keep pulling apart.

This gift set is going to be enjoyed greatly! It has everything they need to start crocheting. The only thing missing is a book of crochet projects, but those are easy enough to find and add to the bag.

This kit comes with a ton of handy tools, if you need those buy a kit that's just tools. The yarn is cheap acrylic and there isn't a ton of it for each color. I am a beginner and the amount this yarn split and was difficult to work with makes it a terrible first timer kit and even worse advanced user kit.

This is a beautiful gift for our granddaughter, who has just learned to crochet in the past year. There are so many different colours of wool, and everything you need is included in the bag—a must for beginners or even intermediate crocheters.
