I bought this for my **Recording King** 'Dirty 30's' (A-Style, Mandolin)First and Foremost... It Fits Nicely.Especially with the extra Padding they included (2X-Strips of Foam padding made using the same Matching Color/Material as the case "liner".I really like the Brown color and "Leather-Like" ABS material, Giving it that, vintage look. The interior lining is very stylish and compliments the Black Finish on my mandolin. The compartment on inside of the case is perfect for storing extra Strings, Picks, Tuner, etc.Hardware, latches, and Handle are very sturdy and look Great .. The "Crossrock" bage looks cool also 😎👍I haven't used the "Lock" mechanism yet. However i very much like that it has a lock built into the latch to keep it safe from theft or accidental unlatching.I am VERY Happy with my purchase and would definitely buy it again. If you are looking for a hard case for less than $100, I highly recommend this 'Crossrock' case 😉👌

I bought a mandolin that had no case, i looked around and this one looked good.It arrived, and when i opened it up, it was good , and behold I say unto you, it was worth the money I spent on it with no regret in the least.a selling point for me wast the advertised stainless latches. over time I've seen them get corrosion on older cases and don't want to see that in the future. But, overall it has a nice hand feel and solid presence, it had keys and also an extra padded strip that can be used to fit your instrument snugly into the case for travel and not allow it to rattle around.for the price I would do it again.

What sold me on this case was the detail of measurements provided in the description. They should ensure your mandolin will either fit or not fit before you buy it. Hardware looks first rate, my F-style mandolin sits in it quite well. It's a good value. If I was on the road with this, I would likely buy something intended for travel, but for keeping the mandolin in a humidity-controllable spot in the house, this fills the bill.

I wasn't familiar with Crossrock instrument cases, but having recently purchased a Fender PM-180E A-style mandolin, a case was desperately needed. (Fender includes a case with the purchase, but it's laughable - just a garment bag disguised as a mandolin case. No padding, no protection, no good.) After researching Crossrock, I decided they represented quality and ordered a black A-style mando case that thoroughly impressed when it arrived. It looks great, is indestructibly hard on the outside, while soft and cushy on the inside with an enclosed section for picks, capo, strings, etc. Not only did my mandolin fit perfectly, the case included two pieces of 12" padding, sewn inside the same case lining material, to use additional padding on the sides or bottom of the instrument should it be needed. This is an excellent case - highly recommended!

Just recieved this mandolin”F” style case. Quick delivery. It’s a beautiful case for my private made case. No flaws or concerns at all. Make sure you measure. They do give you two pads for loose fitting instruments. However, mine fit perfectly. It is sturdy and well made. The tweed is beautiful! I encourage you to buy it if you’re wondering! Very happy with it!

Sturdy and well padded. My F-Type fits in perfectly and has enough room for humidifiers. The latches are sturdy and I'm not worried about them coming loose while carrying. Good value for the money.

This is such a well-made case for a mandolin! It is a keeper, even though it is really too big for the instrument I measured- out for the case. If it didn't have 2 extra lengths of padding with it, I would have to send it back. I will need to add additional padding, too. So there must be lots of differences in size of mandolins. But it's a beautiful mandolin case inside and out, no doubt about that!

Looked around for months to find a quality hard case at a reasonable price. I'm very pleased with this mandolin case - it's well-made, looks great and feels good too.

Like: sturdy wooden case with generous plush lining.Problem. The accessory compartment is too deep. It prevents the neck seating in the cradle provided —by about a half inch! The upper part of the mandolin is supported by the lid of the compartment, with four of the tuners resting on that lid. My mandolin is an Eastman F 505—nothing exotic.Upshot is I’m returning the case.
