For my new build, I wanted something simple and more subtle. This design fits that need.This ram is FAST. Works out of the box and with one click in the BIOS, it achieves 6400 mt/s no problem.Stable and runs cool.Coming from 5 years of ddr4 3200, this is a needed upgrade.

I chose these memory modules based on the manufacturer's list of compatible tested memory modules. This matched set is not on the list but is close to one that is listed. Although I am not a gamer, I prefer optimizing performance, so I set the overclocking configuration level to moderate which is how I learned these are intended to be high performing and targeted for overclocking applications. I didn't suspect they were high performing because I purchased them primarily due to their price. In the three months since installing them, I have experienced no hardware issues such as overheating or memory errors.

I'm an electronics technician and I have had at least 5 years of experience when it comes to using Crucial products. I have experienced ZERO cases of a Crucial component failing. This is no exception. Installed out the box, running perfectly at max advertised clock speed, and running cool.The superior product for cheaper prices than other name brands.

These sticks work really well, and a great upgrade in size and speed. I havent had one issue with them since I installed them. I'll be a Crucial customer for life. My own user error made the install process longer, but thats besides the point.

Default speed is 4000mhz. Turned xmp on and maxed out at 5400mhz even though I set it to 6400mhz. My motherboard is nzxt z970 will return and purchase something that actually stand up for what it is.
