Why is the entrance so small if the interior is so big??? Our foster cats can't cram their big haunches into this, and I imagine they feel immense frustration and regret when they poke their heads in and stand there for a full minute before retreating. One them has now started using the house to hold the toys he doesn't want his littermates to have, so it's not completely wasted. But this may be another product better suited for small cats and kittens. If I had the right tools I'd just create a new opening but that's on me being lazy.The cardboard scratchers on the sides are fairly thick. If you've ever put together those L-shaped scratchers, this uses those same large black plastic screws. If your cat likes cardboard, it's nice to give them a standing option too.

This cat cave/scratcher seems pretty well made. My cat loves hiding inside it, and has been scratching on it too.

This was easy to assemble. Just have to install the plastic screws with the supplied screwdriver. My cats mostly like to play on top of it, but one of the smaller ones went inside. Seems pretty sturdy. I think it will last a long time.

Holy cow, I couldn't believe how big this cat cave is. I'm not sure where I'll even put it. I guess I should've paid closer attention to the dimensions. It's 10 inches deep and almost as tall as an end table. The cats love the scratching surface and it seems like the two sides for that are at a perfect angle for them to do the scratchy stretch while sharpening claws move. They also love to hide inside and swat at each other through the hole. This will hopefully save the furniture since they have an appropriate place to put their claws now. Even tho it's heavy and the sides feel like wood instead of hardened cardboard, the price seems like a lot for something made of cardboard. The cats love it tho.

Yes, spoiling the car with another scratch post. This one is well made and has a playful design to it. Gives the cat another place to hide out. No complaints
