Outstanding charger! Got this for my garage queen 2019 Corvette Stingray with 11,800 miles on her. Read the reviews and ordered it and had it the next day! Followed the instructions and it worked great! For my Vette I needed to order the cigarette lighter plug as the Vette has one specifically for this charger in the back hatch area and makes it easy to charge Very pleased and fair price too!

If you have a collector car that sits in the garage for long periods of time before use, you must use a trickle charger. I recommend using this 12V adapter rather than battery clamps. It’s more convenient and safer. I have my CTEK charging unit mounted on the shelf right where I pull in my corvette. I simply open the door, grab the plug wire and insert it into the accessories plug in my car. This one is well made and not cheap.

The plug works seamlessly on the CTEK charger for my Porsche Macan GTS and 718 Boxster GTS. It will also snap onto the cable for the Porsche Charge-o-mat Pro Battery Maintainer and Charger that I use for my 2024 Porsche 911 Turbo S.

I have this plugged into the hatch accessory socket with the same brand extension wire connected to my charger and closed the hatch on the wire. There's plenty of weatherstripping room for the wire because it's so thin and it's extremely convenient. Excellent solution and much better than having to open the hood or connect directly to the battery

If you plan to use a CTEK battery tender and do it easy for connect/disconnect, the preferred option is to use a cigarette lighter receptacle inside the cabin; but instead, the included connection option with any CTEK tender is to supply only a connector to be used directly to the battery, which is located under the hood (or for some models inside the trunk). That's mean every time the hood/trunk need to be open (and let "semi-open" to avoing kink the cable) wich is impractical (at least in my case) as the hood of my car is very tight and if keep open, a indication in the dashoboard keep on. So this cigarette plug adapter is a must for "practicality" if you want to connect easy your CTEK to keep in top condition the battery of your sport car. The only thing is, as I said in the title, this plug adapter should be included with the CTEK Battery Charger, and not as an additional accesory. All in all recommended to spend a few bucks more with this and make life easy.

I wanted to hard-wire my Ctek charger into my car, for over-winter care of the battery when the car is only used occasionally.This did the job perfectly, makes connecting up easy, charges perfectly well and will really help my battery life. The lead is just long enough to reach from the wire I have from the wall socket, through the boot, and to the charger which is tucked into a side well in the boot. The adapter is strong and of high quality.It did require doing some rewiring of the fuse box to make the boot accessory socket permanently connected, but that only took ten minutes with a fuse adapter.

Ho acquistato CTEK MXS5 56-305, perciò i cavi aggiuntivi, che quello già in uso non aveva (di nota marca e ormai guasto), accessori che rendono rapido l'utilizzo e facilità nei collegamenti, e per le caratteristiche, che ho compreso essere veritiere anche per la grande varietà di accessori secondo varie esigenze. Ancora da provare a fondo il caricabatteria, se non farò aggiornamenti significherà che assolve alle funzioni come promette. I prodotti Ctek sono a mio parere già ad evidente osservazione, sicuramente professionali, per qualità costruttiva e presentazione, con imballi curati che danno indicazione di azienda seria. Introvabili facilmente in negozi normali ed anche in rete, per fortuna c'è amazon. Precisi e puntuali come sempre. Da anni ho ormai amazon come riferimento sicuro con garanzia di serietà , è come avere un grandissimo centro commerciale dietro casa, dove non sprechi fatica nè carburante, è come girare tra gli scaffali, con in più trovando prodotti difficilmente reperibili altrimenti e che ti arrivano con una rapidità insuperabile. Ora come quasi sempre nei miei acquisti: entro il giorno dopo e quando più lenti entro tre!
