These work great and I am able to get around each stud to fully remove the rust and then go between the studs. I still need a wire wheel for the areas too close to the stud next to the center protruding ring where this cannot quite reach as it touches the stud and the ring and leaves a small triangle shape. A little rust build up can move the rotor enough to give pulsing brakes and I hate that. Now I can remove the rust, give a light coat of grease and install the rotor knowing I won't have rust build up messing up my new brake job.

I saw these used on South Main Auto's channel on YouTube. They work great getting rid of rust right where it's critical near the studs on the hub. If you're changing your rotors you must have a clean flat surface and these get the job done nicely. Make sure to get the adapter for your cordless drill these are just the scrubby ends. Highly recommend these for any DIYer or professional. They're made by 3M so quality is top notch.

Package contains 10 roloc discs but not the pictured adapter. Part number 21713 is on the box. The instructions in the box talk about the holder and discs as in photo

Loved this product! Used to buy small packs from autozone and such but a 10 pack for this pricr!? Can't complain! Used it to clean hubs, when replacing wheel bearings, and so much more!

These discs are one of my "go to" tools for metal finishing/cleaning/smoothing. Unlike grinder wheels, these will leave a beautifully smooth surface. Perfect for cleaning mating surfaces and removing old sealant/gasket material. Be careful though as they are designed to remove metal they can also damage your mating surface if you are too aggressive. Love this product and will continue to rely on it!

As other reviewers have stated, the 3M 07546 kit you see on this listing does not include the holding tool for the discs. This is strictly a box of 10 discs for refill purposes. The kit that comes with the holder tool and 5 discs is the 3M 07547 kit or you can order just the holder tool (3M 07545) along with this refill kit depending on what's available.In any case, these discs are the exact same as the ones that came in my original kit which means that quickly remove corrosion and buildup on the hub surface of a vehicle around the wheel studs to ensure a true and level surface when installing new brake rotors or a level surface when installing wheels back onto existing rotors where corrosion had built up between the wheel and the rotor. I haven't even finished the first 5 discs that came with my starter kit since as long as you don't abuse these, they last a really long time (I think I've had my original kit for almost 3 years now). But these for some reason are becoming harder to find (maybe because so many similar tools have since hit the market) so I wanted to have refills on hand for when my last original disc finally wears out.In short, as long you just need refills or are aware you need to order the holder tool separately, these 3M Brake Hub cleaning discs are a technician's best friend when doing brake jobs or even just wheel service.

These are really the only option for cleaning hubd with studs. Expensive but work well.
