I purchased this rice cooker a year ago, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best kitchen investments I’ve ever made. The rice comes out perfect every single time. The rice is fluffy, evenly cooked, and absolutely delicious. What I really love about it is how versatile and easy to use it is. I’ve used it to make porridge, steam veggies, and even try a few experimental recipes. Love the design and color plus it still looks and works like new, even after a year of regular use. We had a Cuckoo rice before it was given to my husband from his boss.But we left it to our friend because it was EU Plug. We bought an ordinary rice cooker here but it was far different of what we had before. So my husband ordered this rice cooker. Voila! The taste of the rice is so good ! The rice stays fresh up to 72 hours. Easy to use and clean.Just be careful when you open the lid.Over all, it is excellent and the best rice cooker we ever had!

TL;DR: For CRP-RT0609FW only: Step 1: Press [TIME SETTING] for 3 seconds. Step 2: Press [ > ] once. Step 3: Press [HIGH P COOK]. I uploaded an image for clarity.I seen other instructions saying you need to press [Auto Clean] for 3 seconds – that didn't work for me.What did work was to press [Time cook] for 3 seconds, then I got a "0:0" on the screen and pressed [ > ] until hearing "This is English" and then press [High Pressure cooking] to confirm. I give this rice cooker 4 stars only because it's so complicated and they seem not care much about the language.

I’ve purchased several rice cookers before, and each time I was disappointed. But after using this rice cooker, the rice is so sticky and delicious that I’ve been eating much more of it. The design is also elegant and refined, and the digital buttons are very easy to use. The price is reasonable compared to other expensive models, and I believe it’s worth twice its value in terms of quality.

I bought the Cuckoo CRP-RT0609FB - 6 Cups, Twin Pressure Rice Cooker & Warmer specifically for brown rice. The Cuckoo arrived, I used the instructions in the manual to quickly change the vocal prompts to English, put it through the self-clean cycle, loaded two cups of mixed brown and red rice, added water to the line marked two under GABA Rice, closed the lid, turned the knob to PRESSURE, the Cuckoo prompted me to choose a pre-set, so I chose GABA/PRESSURE. 40 minutes later, the Cuckoo announced the rice was finished cooking. I opened the Cuckoo to find perfectly cooked brown/red rice. The Cuckoo automatically went into KEEP WARM mode. The first batch was just a test. Over the next 48 hours, my wife and I sampled a little here and there until we'd eaten it all. After 48 hours, if anything, the rice seemed even better than when first cooked. Took the pot out of the Cuckoo and worried for a moment about how difficult it might be to clean after keeping rice warm for 48 hours. I needn't have worried. A splash of water and a quick sponge and the pot was perfectly clean. The non-stick coating works really well. I don't know how long one can hold rice in the KEEP WARM mode, but 48 hours was certainly not a problem. Perfect brown/red rice in 40 minutes, 48 hours in KEEP WARM and it still tasted great and the pot was a breeze to clean. I am extremely happy with my purchase! I know this multi-cooker can do a whole bunch of other things and I'm looking forward to exploring, but to me, everything else is just a bonus.

Cooks rice well and seems durable. However it's fairly bulky. The menu selections are overly complex, to the point of annoying rather than helpful. Seems like a case of marketing or engineering department getting out of touch with the common user. It has seals on both the lid and the lower part that have to be removed and cleaned occasionally, which is a pain.The biggest flaw is that the lid is so large and heavy with such a strong opening mechanism that when it springs open, it rocks the whole rice cooker off its front feet. Ridiculous.In sum, they over engineered the appliance. Seems fancy on paper or the store, but not great to use day to day.

Fantastic rice cooker. We used to have a cheap rice cooker you can pick up at any store, but this... this is on a whole other level. I absolutely love all of the cooking functions. The rice this cooker makes is cooked to perfection, every single grain is at the same level of doneness, no more gloopy rice for this guy! I haven't had the chance to test out the other recipes but from my understanding this does slow cooking, pressure cooking and a whole lot of other functions similar to the instapot (which I do have). I would 100% recommend this over an instapot as the instapot rice is not that great.The build quality is also fantastic. It was definitely built and engineered with the consumer in mind. The finish is fantastic, materials used are high quality and built with care, def a solid unit. It also looks great in the kitchen!20/10 - would buy again
