Used on a mini-media server rack I built for some video menus. It's a tiny switch that does the job at 100/1000 speed.I've never seen a switch this small, it's fantastic for tight builds & confined spaces. The power jack is a standard 5x2mm. Since this device operates from 5vdc, I skipped the included AC adapter and used a USB socket on one of the media players to power it (furnished my own cable)The thing works great, has little blue activity lights on top and dual keyhole shaped mounting slots in back to use with screws for mounting. I used double sided tape to mount ours.It's very lightweight, maybe 2 ounces. Data negotiation is great for the sub 300Mbps bandwidth that I could ever possibly pull through it with the media devices I'm using. The cost is very nice too, this costs about the same as a good RJ485 shielded coupler!It's a fantastic little switch, kinda cute in a way...Two thumbs up.

This tiny ethernet switch works perfectly right out of the box. It's really small and great for tight spots. It will not work without being plugged in to an A/C wall outlet or extension cord. Keep that in mind. Speed clocked in at just over 300mbps which is on par with our internet service plan speed. That's the only speed test I performed on this unit.

Not much to talk about here. The build quality leaves a lot to be desired, but once you plug everything in and tuck it out of the way, who cares? All of the LEDs work and nothing could be easier to use. My network speeds are exactly what I would expect, and so far this device hasn't caused any bottlenecks or glitched at all. All in all, there's nothing bad about this product aside from the cheap plastic case. Recommended.

After hooking this up I was getting faster speed than my tp-link. I thought this is great, cheap and fast.... BUT it disconnects about every 3 minutes. I set it up for a replacement to give it one more try. Hopefully I can give it more stars not less.**Update**Worked right out of theBox.**Update** Speeds slowed less than 1/3 of my Internet speed a few days later. I rest the device and everything has been good.

It is a tiny unit but works well, simply plug in a ethernet cable from router and connect another ethernet cable out to whatever you want to connect to. The beauty of it is this switch works without any user configuration. It also support Gigibit speed. The only down side is no ethernet cable is included in box, so you better have extra ethernet cable lying around. I end up returning mine, not because it's performance but rather I have figured out how to configure my older router as switch. They end up serving similar purpose so I don't need this switch. But for anyone not able to change the setting in old router, this is a good buy.

I bought this to connect a couple of laptops and a desktop with 1 available ethernet cable, it does the job perfectly and I have zero issues with it. At this price point, you can't go wrong.
