After reading the conflicting reviews on this grill I decided to give it a try. I buy numerous items on Amazon and usually dont take the time to review them because I haven't had any problems and dont take the time for positive reviews. However after reading about the supposed fake reviews on this grill I am taking the time to review it. I was looking for a small, inexpensive portable grill to use on the sandbar with my wife and 3 kids when we take the boat out. This grill looked ideal as the legs can be extended to set it up in shallow water or shore without hauling an additional table. The grill arrived and the legs went on in under 5 minutes. I threw on a 2 year old propane bottle that was maybe 1/4 full. I burned off the new crud for 5 minutes and threw on several burgers and hot dogs to give it a try. The burgers were completely frozen. I left the grill on medium high and did the burgers 6 minutes a side. They were very well done and probably on the grill for too long. This is a small grill and 5 hamburgers and a couple hot dogs fill it up. the grill got very hot very quick and I had zero problems lighting it. Time will tell how it stands up to shore use but for a cheap very portable grill to throw some burgers, brats etc I believe its an excellent buy. As the one reviewer said its no 3 burner Weber but I think it will work great for the occassional use of camping, tailgating etc.UPDATE!! After using this grill on the sandbar all summer I still give it 5 stars. The grill lit easily every time, the legs dropped down and worked great in the shallow water without any issues. The grill will flare up if your cooking some really greasy burgers but with abundant water nearby I simply used the kids squirt gun to douse the flame. Grill cleaned up easily at the end of the season and I look forward to using it again next year. Having hot food after a day on the boat made our outings that much better.

This is a decent little grill. No tools were needed to assemble, the only assembly is the feet and they snap onto the legs. Good size for camping and tailgating. Everything locks closed for storage and transport. It has a built-in igniter and has a grease trap tray that locks into place that you clean out before you pack it up. The legs have two different height adjustments not counting that you can leave it folded up sitting on a table and still grill with it. I would definitely purchase it again.

The grill works well and starts up easily. It cooked well. The interior is hard to clean but that could be said about most grills. The Verastand that I additionally bought, is very shaky and the legs do not close back up properly. They extend too far and then the push button which allows them to collapse does not work.

We downsized. We have always had a big gas grill to feed an army. Now it's the two of us. We were skeptical at first to buy it because of the size. We thought you would only be able to put two burgers on it, wouldn't taste as good as the big grill. Wow we were wrong. It's compact however you can put six hamburgers on it. So you can invite friends/family for a grill out too.! We have done corn on the husk on it, kabobs for six, brats (golden and cooked throughout), steaks (grilled to perfection), grilled veggies on skewer (which were absolutely delicious). Everything has turned delicious. It doesn't have that taste of gas either. Don't let the size fool you. Easy to start. We are glad we bought it. Plus, we can pack it into the carrying case and take it on a picnic/ beach.

We don't know how well this works because it arrived without the grill grate. Very disappointing as we were all set to grill tonight. Instead I spent too long trying to fill out Cuisinart "support" website, but that doesn't seem to be working. Then I called support number provided by Amazon for Cuisinart. Turns out that number doesn't provide missing parts (although Amazon provides it as support for problems including missing parts). After finally reaching person at that number, I was told I had to call another number another day (only open till 5 p.m.). I will update rating/review when/if we get the missing part and can actually use the grill.Still don’t have grate but more disappointment re customer service. Phone number given by Cuisinart was not generally helpful (went to “we’re too busy to deal with you†message), but it did give email address where I could submit request for missing part. Why wasn’t I provided the correct contact info by Amazon or when I called the 1st Cuisinart number I was given? Purchasers shouldn’t be made to traverse a step-by-step treasure hunt just to reach customer service.Very frustrating that after finally reaching someone who would take responsibility for sending missing part I was told it would be 3 days till “order†was processed and that it would then be shipped regular/slow mail. So we’re without a useable grill for at least a week, despite “2 day†delivery promise for the original order. Cuisinart should have shipped the missing grate immediately and via priority, given that they messed up by not including it in the box in the first place. Amazon & Cuisinart need to improve communication regarding customer service contacts.

This grill is perfect for what I need it for, I am a single mom that does not grill daily but enough to want a grill and it’s great quality. I used it for a tailgating event at a baseball game and it traveled well and worked amazingly. We were able to fit a lot of meat on it at once. It does not come with a propane tank (not sure how I missed that in the description) but they are cheap to buy and multiple brands fit the grill. All in all it is a great grill!

Overall, I'm utterly happy with this grill for its portability, telescopic stand, cooking quality and easy cleanning.The only reason I'm taking one star away is that feet lock mechanism is a permanent failure when it comes to extending the legs. Sometimes it takes way too long to set it up. And second issue is the ignition - it normally doesn't ignite from the first attempt.Update: be very careful when using the grill cleaning spray. If you get it on the painted cover, it causes discoloration or total removal of the paint in spots where cleaning solution remained longer than few minutes.

I bought this as a damaged box unit and I have had really good luck in the past with the damaged box items, this was in new condition but for someone had used it prior to returning it and didn't clean it so had a bit of a task cleaning the slobs fish pieces off the burner grate and sides but when i did behold just like a brand new unit worked first try and heats great, well worth the discount price I paid, about 1/2 price so just love it as it's just the right size for two of us here.

Its cute, it's versatile, it's chique and it's somehow both strong and dainty - and then you go to move it hahaha! She's clunky and a tad awkward to adjust. She can also sound quite 'rattley' in the car while driving so you won't want to forget your beach blanket when you travel with this bad boy to tuck it in to place. Overall this is a wonderful little addition to the car camping gear collection!
