I use extremely lean hamburger. This is perfect for hamburgers. If you don't want your food falling through the grill this this is great.

This is a strange grill topper. I didn't notice when I ordered, but the description says do not heat above 400 degrees or it will warp. What kind of grill doesn't heat to 400 degrees? But they weren't lying. Sure enough, first time I used it warped. Then after removing it from the heat it went back to its original shape. It's not easy to clean, either by hand or in the dishwasher. But, even though it doesn't look clean, the cooking surface is fine. It's discolored, but food doesn't stick (yet).On the plus side, two grill toppers for $16 is a really good deal. But so far, I've only used one of them a few times. I don't know how long they will last.

This pan warped immediately on an outdoor gas grill. Not made for high heat.
