  • Popcorn maker

Cuisinart has an easier, healthier way to make fresh crisp popcorn in the microwave. Our pop and serve popcorn maker silicone bowl pops kernels without needing any oil for a lighter healthier snack. Add your own flavorings like butter, salt, or spices, or leave as is for a healthy snack that’s ready to serve right from the bowl! The silicone bowl is easy to clean and collapses for convenient storage. Fun to use and easy to clean.

This is an amazing little contraption for making popcorn. My husband makes popcorn at least 3 times a week. He adds 1/3 cup of kernels, microwaves it for 3 minutes (you may have to adjust the time per your microwave), and it delivers non-greasy, fluffy popcorn every time. He then pours it into another bowl, adds melted butter and salt - not as healthy but delicious! We have owned this since 2020! Do not hesitate to- it’s a great purchase. So much better than the microwave bags!

If you like popcorn, I think that you will like this Quisinart Microwave Popcorn Popper. I was doing the regular packaged microwave popcorn for a while. But that gets expensive, and who knows what the butter flavor stuff is made of... Then, I tried a air popper, and I had popcorn everywhere. Plus there is the set-up and tear down of all of the equipment... it just takes a while, which is tough when you are craving popcorn now! So, my cousin about this Quisinart popper. You just put the popcorn kernels in the bowl, put the lid on it, and throw it in the microwave for about two and a half minutes, and the popcorn is ready. Of course you you can put some butter in a little bowl to melt for the last 20 seconds or so, and then add a little salt, and that works too. It just depends how big your popcorn craving is. Anyway, this is a great device for making popcorn quick and easy. It is one bowl, one lid (unless you do the butter thing). It cleans up quick and easy. When you go to put it away, it folds up nice and flat I’m thinking about getting one of these to throw in my suitcase when I travel. It saves you money, because you can buy just regular cheap popcorn. It’s healthy, because you know exactly what you put in there (I come to enjoy just plain popcorn now). It doesn’t make a big mess, it easy to clean up. There is no set up or tear down. So, that’s why I say, “If you like popcorn...”

Okay, 1/4 of a cup or a 1/3rd of a cup and maybe 3 and a half minutes in the microwave.... and you have plenty of popcorn. Okay, you do have to flavor it.. a spray of olive oil or a spray of butter then dust it with some cheese powder and then you have some delicious popcorn. And I can toss it in the dishwasher... only the lid needs to be hand washe... I am (and my wife and kids) very happy with this purchase.

We have a stir-popper that works great, but it's a pain to clean, especially if we only want to make a small batch. So we bought this because the reviews were decent and we've had pretty good luck overall with Cuisinart over the years. It works well as instructed, but the popcorn comes out very dry, sorta like air-popped, which was completely as we expected. Instead, I use some coconut oil with the popcorn, cook it, and then add salt and additional flavorings, or whatever. We have a 16-yr old 950W Kenmore, so the instructions leave a lot of unpopped kernels ... I'm still trying to find the best combination, but I'm currently using slightly less than 1/4 cup of corn for 4:30 and ending up with maybe 40-ish unpopped kernels (see pic). I don't think I can go much longer than that without scorching, so I'm going to try some new popcorn and maybe different brands (this was Jiffy Pop white, but I bought it a while ago). It cleans easily by hand, and we've tossed it onto the top shelf of the dishwasher as well. Overall, I don't see how it's reasonable to blame the piece of silicone for the unpopped kernels, and it otherwise works as advertised, and we're happy with it, so thus the 5 stars.

Best microwave popper yet! And I've gone thru quite a few over the years. Air poppers, stove poppers. microwave poppers with a very small base.First batch - tried using the Popcorn sensor on my M-wave - had to add time to it -- burned it. No worries - try again. Next batch - "read" the "instructions" and perfection. (For those reviews that burnt the first batch and then threw it away - don't merit a negative reaction - they didn't even try).I used a spritz of Pam-spray and 2 shot-glasses of kernels and followed the 3-minute - 5-cup (after popped) instructions. Also, very few un-popped kernels. I have a large microwave - around 1000/1200 watt. May need to adjust if you have a smaller nuker. Don't give up - it takes a bit of honing to get in your popcorn groove.Photos were taken after I munched a few handfuls.Instruction booklet also has a few topping recipes. White handles are quite rigid and cool to touch. Base is sturdy with fairly large base. Careful with the lid when removing -- hot steam pours out - lift facing away from you. EZ PZ to fold flat and store. Also easy to clean. If the pricing and availability stays stable, I wall purchase a few more of these for gifts.
