In product description says dishwasher safe. It is not safe. I put it on the top rack and it heated to much to became into a weird shape. Disappointed.

I had to replace the work bowl of my mini-Cuisinart, which developed a large crack after years of use. I was able to find a replacement that fits, but am wondering why they changed the design to make it about 3/4" shorter so the original cover does not fit and won't work with the motor switch. So I had to order a replacement cover as well, and also cut the stem of the cutting blade to fit the new assembly. Now the unit works as it should but was a hassle to deal with.
