Bought these to replace an old pair of Cuisinart oven mitts, which had burned on the stove. These are actually better, as they have snap loops, so you can hang them on your stove. Very nice and convenient.

It's been difficult finding a pair of oven mitts that both my husband and I like. [We don't have the room for multiple pairs.] Hubby likes these. They provide good coverage from heat and burns while not being oversized fireman's or grill gloves. He likes that the hand region material is neoprene - not silicone. I find there is extra material around the thumb base making it a bit difficult to close and it's a bit stiff, but overall, I like them, too. Four stars instead of five because of that, but it's a matter of prefenence. Good bargain for the product.

These well-made oven mitts have a sophisticated charm--they're designed to look as nice in a country kitchen as a minimalist modern one. The front/palm sides have a neoprene cover but inside of that cover it's fully cotton, so it's both comfortable and protective from both the neoprene and the cotton together. They work well to protect against heat yet are not too bulky. Good from both a form and function standpoint, which makes them a bit of a rarity in over mitts my book.
