The size, the weight, the finish on the grid, the rapid heat as is electric and cool down all excellent. Grill finish is easy to clean up. The cooking surface even all around. Compact, easy to move. Perfect.

It was very easy to snap together and feels very sturdy on the legs. If you clean the inside after each use, you can store the plug inside so you're not trying to remember where it is when you are ready to use it. The neighbor mentioned how wonderful our chicken breasts smelled during grilling. I made a foil tray and put some pico de gallo over the top of each breast and baked a potato on the grill in EVOO and kosher salt so it turned out just like the restaurants. We couldn't be more pleased with the performance, size and happy color. The grill is divided in half with a slight tilt to the center so any grease will run towards the opening and accumulate in the tray provided that snaps in place under the surface. If you are adverse to wiping it out, just remember to give it a quick spray prior to grilling or storing.

Every time I grill a steak or something on my cast iron grill on my gas stove in my kitchen, my air purifiers go off the charts. (No it's not because I burned it. Ha!) Due to COPD, air quality in my home is a priority. I do not like to deal with propane grills or charcoal grills. It's not my forté. Ah ha! I stumbled upon Cuisinart's little outdoor grill which is electric and the solution to my needs. It's just the right size for one or two people and it comes with a stand, which I needed. The stand is terribly flimsy though and not very stable, so I might wind up buying a small metal table to use instead of the stand. However, I've used it out back on my patio 3 times and it's done a perfect job. Only concerns are that the temperature dial does not show what temperature it's at. It's merely numbers from 1 - 5. So you have to guess what temperature you are cooking at. It has a drip tray which works perfectly to catch any fats or residue from what you are cooking. It removes easily for cleanup. It gets very hot. Instructions say it goes up to 600 degrees, however, I have not tested it. The lid has a tab that allows you to rest it on the side of the grill. The lid also has a vent however, it too is flimsy and not really functional. All in all, despite the small shortcomings, I'm glad I got this little grill because I'm not setting off my indoor air purifiers anymore when I want to have something grilled. Oh yes, the grill surface is non-stick which makes cleanup very easy.

WOW !!! Just used my Cusinart grill for the first time. VERY IMPRESSED !!!! Much improved over theGeorge Formen I 've had for about 5 years & it finally croaked. I had intended to replace it with another until I read the details on the Cusinart & decided to give it a try , as It was same size & price as the other. Well I grilled steaks...cooking was excellent because this Cusinart has a grill vent... the old grill did not. When it came to cleaning I dreaded cleaning the old one as it was a chore. They said it would be easy ..but that was NOT my experience. I also had a difficult time washing it because the old one sits on a large frame , hard to manuever in a small sink. Cleaning the Cusinart was a breeze and a half. I'm in LOVE !!! BEST GRILLING EXPERIENCE IN A LONG,LONG TIME !!! GO CUSINART !!!

So much easier to use than a gas grill and the favor is the same to me. It is light weight and the top removes from the stand.Simply, plug into electric outlet and you are ready to grill. The grill itself does not have those gapping spaces so easy to cook, veggies and other small foods.Easy to clean after every use, no more bacteria left on grill. A perfect gift for an older person.

I live in a 2nd floor condo in Fl. Many people have electric grills. So, when I found this Cuisinart Grill, I bought it. Unfortunately, we do not like it. It took 25†to cook a hot dog, with temp at highest pt. Still it was lukewarm at best. I really should return it but packing it up and returning it is too much. I always buy Cusinart appliances and been satisfied. Not this time.
