Wiring Schematic Diagram

Note:

1.The contact capacity of the switch: 0.3A@240V AC/DC.

2.Only one-phase electricity is monitored.

2

Sample 1: The relay/contactor is used to control the AC and DC load indirectly.

1. The red line refers to the output circuit of the contactor.

2. The blue line refers to the output circuit of the current switch.

3.The black line refers to the input circuit of the current switch (the circuit of the equipment to be monitored)

2

Sample 2: As a signal source, the current trtransformer switch is used together with PLC to achieve intelligent control or intelligent protection

1. The red line refers to the output circuit of the contactor.

2. The blue line refers to the output circuit of the current switch.

3. The black line refers to the input circuit of the current switch ( the circuit of the equipment to be monitored )

lnstallation Precautions

1.The detected perforation current must be alternating current, not direct current, and variable frequency current andvariable power are not suitable.

2.The detected perforation current must be within the allowable range and cannot exceed the maximum limit value.Exceeding the limit current will damage the product components

3.The maximum contact capacity load is 0.3A@240V(AC/DC),usually 24V(DC) or 240V(AC) can be connected.380V voltage is not allowed

4.Terminals K1/K2 can connect or disconnect AC/DC. They are dry contacts. They are usually connected to thepower supply in series with the load to connect or disconnect the load. lt is strictly forbidden to connect the powersupply directly to K1/K2 without the load. Otherwise, it will completely burn the device

5.The detected perforated wire can only wear one wire, not two, otherwise, the current sensing switch will not workproperly

6.When the detected perforation current is small it is not possible to use a multimeter to detect whether the switchis turned on. You can judge whether the switch is turned on by detecting the load condition.

7.Perforation current = actual current X number of coils wound on the sensor coil.

8. If the current being meaured is less than 1A, loop the wire through the sensor coil to incease the current field. If the current draw from the measured device is 0.5 amp, then loop the wire around the sensor coil 3 times and it will produce 1.5A current

Upgrading a fixed speed poolpump and SWCG to a VS pump requires a means of removing power from the SWCG when the pump internal timer turns the pump off. Using the normally OPEN version to drive a power contactor/relay, controls power to the SWCG. In my application, L1 of the motor supply is passed through the sensor (red #12 wire in photo) to detect when the pump is off, which opens sensor output and relay, removing power from SWCG. The adjustment allows setting trip current for any pump speed. So far this has worked PERFECTLY.

Created a junction box with this current sensor to turn on an inline 6 inch fan whenever the microwave was powered on.

I tried both the 30A and 50A normally-closed relays (NC30 & NC50), and both had relay contacts that never changed state. They just stayed open whether the current threshold had been met or not. Even when disconnected, even straight out of the box, the contact were open on the normally-closed relays. The LED lights would come on when current passed through, but the relay didn't change. So if you want a pretty light that comes on, hey great, but if you need relay action look at some other product.

I got the unit to work to turn on a make-up-air damper to work with my induction cooktop. While my research suggested that it would work, it was not clear from the instructions or communication with the seller how to connect. Seller used very foreign terminology as compared to my typical USA wiring setup. Wouldn't recommend to anybody unless you are comfortable with electrical wiring experimentation and are sufficiently cautious.

This unit worked great for about a month, and has given out. Contacts don't close anymore when current is detected, no matter the adjustment. I also wish there was a dial of sorts to see where your approximate amp setting was on.
