We tow a 26DBUD with a 1/2 truck. It does a great job of putting some weight on the front axle. It rides well and pulls great. The anti sway friction bar can be a bit noisy when turning at low speeds but makes up for it when passing a semi.

Box was still intact, but the styrofoam inside was destroyed. Maybe they should use a high density foam for packing so there are not a million styrofoam BB's everywhere when unpacking. The hitch itself is nice. Seems to have a good heavy powder coating to it. It takes a couple of hours to get it setup correctly. If you can read and follow instructions you should be able to get through it. First trip out I could tell a difference. It was almost like the trailer wasn't back there. You should watch out for the safety chains hitting the trunnion bars when making sharp turns. Mine are welded to the bottom side of the trailer frame and the trunnion knuckle will hit them when making sharp turns. I will relocate the trailer safety chains under the trailer frame. Just something to be aware of, nothing wrong with the Curt 17322. I installed this on a V-nosed cargo trailer that has a 60 inch tongue and this fit with no problem.

Packaging was less than stellar. Luckily I don't think any parts escaped, and I understand it's tough to put 100+ lbs of metal with sharp corners in a shippable cardboard box..The instructions were lacking (and torn up to an almost unusable extent due to packing/handling). There were 2 extra bolts I couldn't find a home for on the assembly. The "self drilling" screws to attach the sway control ball bracket to the trailer were junk. They didn't look like the normal type of self drilling screws pictured on the packaging (with a drill-bit tip) but instead were like normal screws (just pointy) and one of them snapped off at the head upon installation (after pre-drilling the hole.) I had to weld a nut to the broken screw to get it out, and ended up just drilling and tapping the 4 holes for 3/8" bolts which is what I should have done from the beginning.Aside from the junk screws, everything else looks to be decent. I haven't got on the road with it but it definitely does transfer the weight as intended. It takes the rear of a 2500HD from an inch off the bump stops from tounge weight to almost level. Will update after some miles...

I bought this to move 8000lbs of machinery to a new location 750 miles away. I have a 13500gvw tilt trailer which was being towed behind an E3500 express van. The load leveling and anti sway of this hitch, made what was to be a tentative trip, a breeze. When I was cruising down the highway I barely knew the trailer was there until I started climbing the hills. Even though my trailer doesn't have a large cross section, the van did, the anti sway worked well to keep my van inline when I was passing tractor trailers. The anti sway keeps the trailer and you're vehicle straight and inline regardless of which part is doing the swaying. Worth every penny if you're gonna carry some heavy loads.

Bought twice and both times one of the distribution bars snapped out of the hitch within a few uses. I’ve got a 13,000 lbs 1,400 lbs tongue weight toy hauler. Not impressed to say the least.

Very simple to set up and very good quality for the price. The weight distribution arms pop in and out very quickly. Lots of adjustment. Very heavy, so take this weight into consideration and add it directly to your tongue weight rating.
