This simple lock is very lightweight and easy to install and remove from my fifth wheel. Although it is small and lightweight it definitely doesn't feel cheap, and it would be very hard for a criminal to remove it. Very happy with this purchase. Gives me peace of mind when I am not hooked up to the truck.

Very easy to lock and unlock. It would be somewhat difficult to cut off because of the design which is great - it fits right in the notch on the king pin.

I have only had this product about a month so this review is premature. However, the workmanship seems solid and well built. I'm in CO so we will see how it holds up in melting snow and high UV levels. I gave this 4 stars because I went to the Curtis website for extra keys and could not find any (lots for horse trailer locks) so I plan to just get some made at a quality locksmith locally.

Very easy to install but you have to use the key to spin the locking mechanism to install and take off.It is black so kind of defeats the idea of deterring a thief from a distance, so we painted ours orange!
